If you run #hybrid events, you should distinguish between a mere live-stream (passive) and actual remote participation (active).
I'm in an allegedly hybrid session now, but I can't see other participants (not on camera, but not even in a list of people), and the chat has been disabled. Also, people in the shared-air space can't in any way see the online audience. Basically, it's just a live-stream.
The only active dimension is that I can submit a question, which might then be asked for me.

So I totaled my car a few days ago.

The weed is the clover Trifolium pratense, bottom right. 3 species of Trifolium here, plus Sweet Clover /Melilotus- all invasive escapes from agriculture, none native. Melilotus doesn't usually stray far from disturbed soils, and the Trifoliums at least do not form monocultures, rather mingling with native and others.. details continued in replies

I haven't finished all of it. But I was inspired to jump in by this bit from the exec summar:

The #Hybrid space is something that I've been passionate about for a long time. Mono-culture (work, play, housing) can lead to stagnation and, frankly, boring places.
Mix it up a bit! Give humans at work somewhere for a nice walk and a coffee. Give humans at home somewhere to cycle and plug in a laptop. Give humans at play... Well, more play.
Long/short for me - make places for humans, not for mono-use... Am looking forward to reading the rest of this!

Interesting. Some research on working from home, from fully-#remote to #hybrid. Lacks the nuance I'd like, but still, I'm grateful that there's some data and not just executive conjecture.

Hey #Agile and #Conference folks: Looking for someone who has experience using #CatchBox throwable microphone, especially with regards to echo cancelling. My idea is to have a #Meeting Owl as speaker & cam, and CatchBox as Mic. Will it work? Is there someone who has a similar setup?
I am so, so, so tired of #hybrid #videoconferences where the audio is terrible, the camera angles are terrible, the lighting is terrible, and the level of competence at running hybrid events is terrible.
Remember: the cognitive load you place on online participants from poor audio is enormous, and it detracts from the messages you are attempting to convey.
If you are serious about #WFH and about #hybrid, you MUST get better at hybrid #videoconf.

there isn't enough awareness of disinformation and how to combat it.
it wasn't long ago if memory serves that a #european agency and also #NATO produced some big reports on #hybrid #warfare - including #disinformation and #weaponisation of #information - along with recommendations for how to combat it at various levels, to include the citizen level.
would definitely be good to include professional arenas as you suggest.
