What the AAA Gaming Industry delivered this year so far, just wow.
Better stick to #indie #games. These mostly don't cost a fortune but give you a much better experience.
One of the best examples imho on how good indie games can be is Cepheus Protocol, costs 17€ and they put out patches, refinements and improvements it feels like on a daily basis. They even take a nap in their chair while coding, not because they are forced to do crunch time, but simply because they love their game.

The Three Johns make their vinyl debut with th single “English White Boy Engineer” and “Secret Agent”
They were an English post-punk band formed in 1981 in Leeds, England, and originally consisting of guitarist Jon Langford (co-founder of the Mekons), vocalist John Hyatt, and bassist Phillip "John" Brennan.
The a-side was originally a Mekons tune. This version is really cool. Very "post-punk".

Trying to get an early start on this for once. It's #BandcampFriday, where #bandcamp gives #indie #music #artists all of the proceeds from their sales.
Since I'm hoping this will get a #boost (sorry for all the hashtags!), a little bit about me:
I'm a #game #musician doing #chiptune tributes and also original game soundtracks. I run @bloopmuseum so I use the machines in the #museum to write stuff. If you're into #retro #demoscene stuff, #retrogaming, or #retrocomputing you'd probably dig it, I hope. I focus on authenticity.
Probably my most popular work is #PrettyEightMachine ("#P8M") - the first #nineinchnails album, redone on eight different #8bit machines. I also did #falloutboy and two collections of pop covers.
Most of the time I'm commissioned to do #nintendo #NES stuff but I do have a fun #sega #megadrive / #segagenesis #EDM album that ended up as #OST #VGM for a game on steam.
Anyway, enough blather, here's the link, I'd appreciate any support you can throw my way. My museum is a nonprofit so if I end up with extra money I usually put it into that. One day I hope we end up in our own building, but we are at least in a physical location as we speak.
