Lili Elbe (1882 - 1931) war eine dänische Malerin. In der Ehe mit Malerin Gerda Wegener traute sie sich als Frau zu leben und begab sich Anfang der 30er in die Obhut von Magnus Hirschfeld. Sie unterzog sich mehreren Operationen, starb 1931 nach Komplikationen.
