I teach wheel throwing, am working on a public weaving project, and am leading a retreat for makers and creatives in Oaxaca, Mexico this fall (2023).
Those are the big, creative things for me right now.

I don't think i'm that interesting ha. Well before becoming disabled I was in college and was studying film/TV production. I still enjoy parts of it but don't want a career in it.
I have a TBI along with a few other things so it's hard to do much day to day. I've come to enjoy video games, anime, birding, cooking shows, drawing (when I'm able) and writing poetry (also when I'm able). Some of my favorite games are Stardew Valley, Slay the Spire, Final Fantasy XIV, and Breath of the Wild.

#introduction I've been sitting at my desk pondering how to best proceed with an introductory message so I decided to just go full meta and wing it by typing out a stream of consciousness instead.
I'm #newhere and an #enby data engineer. I don't normally use social media aside from Discord and other chat platforms to keep in touch with my friends and chosen family.
Some things I enjoy: writing, TTRPG / Pen & Paper games, video games, FOSS, right to repair, socialism, self-hosted software, cooking, and exploring - both in a physical/wanderlusty sense, and in a cultural/academic sense.
Although I think the academic validity of this is dubious, I am a INFP according to the Myer-Briggs personality system. I take pride in making others happy, and I find fulfillment in being able to assist.
Other than this, I'm 26 years old, happily married to a partner who lives an ocean away, and am fighting the US government to enable us to cohabitate a household.

I'm a software developer and enjoy tinkering around with programming languages and runtimes, but I find I don't have much to say about it recently. I find the endless hype cycles in software tiresome and is there really anything left to say?
Photography is probably main hobby and I often post my pictures here. I enjoy other kinds of art too, both watching and making.
In terms of music, I like to think I've got eclectic taste, but when it comes down to it, I find I'm mostly listening to post-punk. I post a music links when I'm in the mood.
Politically, I have a left leaning slant and I believe in equality and human rights for all. I often boost political posts.
I like to listen to In Our Time podcast. I read Popbitch every week and play Rougle everyday.
