So I've finally finished the #Spellslinger series ending with Sebastien De Castell's #CrownBreaker.
It's one of those series I'm really sad to finish but really happy to have read (or listened to). It's definitely a #series. I will revisit. Loved the #characters, the #magical systems and #worldbuilding. Must #read for #fantasy #readers.
Also, Joe Jameson did an excellent job narrating these books.

#Beltane or #Bealtaine is a Gaelic festival set at the midway point between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice. It marks the beginning of #summer when cattle are driven out to the summer pastures. According to two early medieval Old Irish texts, #druids would make two fires "with great incantations" and drive the cattle between them to protect them from disease. Bonfires are still lit on Beltane today.

Diana plastic camera & 120 roll film. The camera cost 10 Schillings, bought in Lehanes grocer shop (now Centra) Rossa Avenue, Bishopstown.
Purchased the film from the chemist shop (now Spice Town?) in Uam Var Ave and the kind man, in a white coat, showed me how to put the film in.

A 12.8kHz quartz crystal is housed in a vacuum tube.
Only 5000 Astrochron were made. Designed to run on a 1.5 volt D cell zinc–carbon battery giving a years operation.

Tonight I drew this guy. I don't have a name for him yet, but I believe he pilots a rust bucket #spaceship. Like a lot of amateur #artists, I don't like drawing hands (or paws) so I clumsily hid his arms behind his beard. (Clever, I know)
