so I have always been something of a nervous Norvis, and w/menopause ===> Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia (among other things).
Over the last few yrs and with the help of my GP, things are managed with a combo of meds and meditations (etc).
Last night, the dude and I had a miscommunication that resulted in me believing for several hours (2-4am) that he was *missing*.

#Today I skipped my early morning walk because the air is full of smoke from the Canadian wildfires, not so much that you can really see it, but the weather people are saying the air quality is poor.
So I paid the monthly bills, went out to grocery shop in the hazy sunshine, and came home with my eyes stinging. While the rest of the UK basks in warm sunshine, we in the south are having 13C, cold wind and thick cloud. Even London have been getting warm sunny weather. I'm still waiting for Spring, and it's nearly Summer haha. At least the flowers are settling in nicely.

I have now seen 5 of the Harry Potter movies. Still don't like them, and I am struggling. Thank goodness the next re-watches I do, will be the Back to the Future franchise. At least they are a fun watch. I want to see the Micheal J Fox movie, 'Still' and want a refresher on the films first.

It's just one of those days I guess. I'm starting to plan the release of 12 animals but I'm struggling because of how much shooting is going on around me.
The struggle is making my mind wander into dark places because I can't protect them after they are released so I have to trust that I have taught them to distrust men and dogs successfully.
I'll be able to drive down there regularly but I'm going to struggle with fuel as the trip there and back is 120km.

I've come to the conclusion that as long as your instance doesn't tolerate abuse (mine doesn't), then it doesn't really matter where you are. We can still connect.

I have to admit, I don't understand the "Monday morning" mentality. Many people are grumpy on Mondays, or say that is the worst day of the week. I can only conclude, they mean, it is furthest from the weekend, otherwise, one day, is much like another.

I'm in a weird place at the moment. My wife (hard word to use) took off after a mental health issue in January. I've had 2 emails from her since then telling me she was okay. I heard nothing for almost 3 months initially.
I'm tired. I'm lost. My sense of humour is dead and frequently I think I wish I was as well.
I've found people to talk to here which I appreciate but I have no idea what to do. I'm sort of lost I think. I wish I had something else to look forward to, but I have nothing.

In consultation with my doctor, I have decided that after 3 years I'd like to see what life is like without antidepressants.
I am on 20mg Citalopram (an SSRI). We will very slowly lower the dose.
Does anyone have experience with quitting antidepressants? What withdrawal symptoms can I expect?
