Having #kittens has me slipping into toddler mom mode. I find myself automatically falling into old habits, like saying oww when they bite me, and asking things like "Why do you hurt me?"

It's exactly what I did when my kid was a toddler and hit me. It doesn't work as well on kittens. Strategy has to be a bit different with them, but the concept is the same

You would think that 8 kittens would be the last from the same house. There were 9. This is Freddy, and he is the last. The lady that took care of their mom thought she could keep him, but unfortunately had health issues so had to surrender and move in with her son.

Depending how the vet goes he may go up for adoption this weekend. Details once he is available in the Phoenix area.

I trapped a feral #cat last Wednesday who looked very fat. I was a little worried I was fat-shaming her (was I leaving out too much dry food for her?) but... @bbsmooth My cats loved their mini-cat-tower as well when they were that age. Though of course their most favorite thing to climb was me.

Fortunately they don't try to climb me as often nowadays, as they've grown rather substantially. Their old kitten tower is in the basement and they'll still perch on top of it to watch me when I'm down there.

Kitten update. They are less afraid of me. Just a few days away from them being picked up by Cool Cats Rescue in Phoenix Arizona. Maybe a month (don't hold me to it) till they are up for adoption if anyone here is interested. If so... don't take just one. Cats generally do better togather.
