Once again thinking about that woman I overheard at the Lord of the Rings movie premiere night in my local cinema complaining: "this is not credible, orcs don't exist!".

Child A really didn't want to go out for a short walk round our local Duck Pond - but once we got there we fished out loads of 'treasure' (rubbish) with sticks, dug up half buried bottle caps and even got a couple of deposit bottles, which both children thought was excellent. Then on the way home past our neighbours we were given muffins!

I'm probably a heretic for saying this, but I really wish I could read a version of #LOTR with none of the silly songs. They so rarely contribute anything of substance to the plot or character development, and I find them distracting.
I don't care what other people say, I actually enjoyed the first season of Foundation on Apple TV and am now enjoying the second season. There's something to be said about a spralling universe and a story told over millennia.
Yes. I'm weird. I also enjoyed the #LOTR prequel on Amazon and same thing re the first season of Weel of Time.
