Been working on finishing Link’s Awakening finally 😅—I’m not great at this game and love the idea of drawing characters in a way that reflects your play style, so that’s what this is
I wonder if there's ever been anyone who did a real deep dive into goron eating habits. It's clear enough why they can't just eat whatever rocks they come across - same reason hylians don't eat grass off the ground - but what makes certain rocks special? What is a rock roast and why do they cook it? Why do they apparently distaste ores and gemstones, but in oot all of goron city was slavering for a chance to taste the goron ruby? Is ceramic like candy for gorons?
Zelda has once again infiltrated my brain, so have the Poe Sisters who are long time loves of mind.

#totk is an incredible game and I’m having an absolute blast playing BUT... there’s one thing keeping it from being perfect: ITS TOO FRICKEN HARD.
Fused weapons take a dozen hits to drop an enemy with a tree branch, while that tree branch can wipe 8 hearts away with one hit even with upgraded armor.
Seriously I am TIRED of getting one-hit every 10 minutes 😭 why does every game need to be Dark Souls these days?

pre botw scenario: zelda & link have to camp out one night and zelda, feeling nervous, asks link to sleep in the same tent. the other guards assume that this is going to lead to some Spicy and leave them be. the next morning, however, they overhear struggling and shouting in zelda's tent and when they look in, link is laying on top of her, asleep and still in full armor, and zelda is trying (and failing) to shove him off

Honestly I love Hilda, and I understood her reasons for what she did. Was it right? Absolutely not, but I think anyone can understand her wanting to do what's best for her people.
And if you hate her for it but love Wind Waker Ganondorf for the same reasons, I need you to stand back and figure out why.

I replayed Skyward Sword last year, partly because it's fun and partly because I realized I've forgotten a lot about it. It's a good game, even if not everyone agrees. Zelda is adorable and so brave for what she had to do in this game.
