We have probably all been there. We’re sharing cute pet stories and ours seems to indicate our cat communicates with us.

Tristan and his first Squishy Cube. The other one I used, and so, it is more squished.

Tristan seeks the right surface at all times, from his reflective warming blanket near the radiator to the pad on top of the comforter on top of the bed.

I adore this picture. Tristan had been playing with me in the living room, before he went into the bedroom to take a nap with the already sleeping Mr WayofCats.

I sneaked into the room to make sure he was behaving himself. Then I saw that he had put all four paws into Mr WayofCats' hand.

Such adorable gestures are a Tristan trademark. He combines the drama skills of an Alpha with the ease of expression that comes from being a securely-loved cat.

"Is my cat comfy?" is a good question to ask when our fall gets ready to move into winter.

If we find our cat curled up with their paws tucked in and their nose buried in their fur, this is their most heat conserving position.
