This is a photo of a small lake on a bright blue day with no wind. The water has minimal ripples and the surface is reflecting the trees, sky and horizon. It's a shallow sandy beach with various sticks, reeds and footprints. Some human, some animal. The lake is lined with golden yellow reed grass. It's an early spring photo and the trees do not have leaves. It does have a crisp dry feel to the outside surrounding the lake.

Golden ripples of sand in the dunes of Maspalomas during sunset. A gorgeous part of the dunes that was not covered in footprints, natural art right there :) Makes me feel nostalgic, good times!

Yep, there was also one day during our vacation when there was a heavy rain shower all of a sudden appearing out of nowhere with us being far away from any buildings, or so we thought - we hid underneath a palm tree at first 😅 This photograph here is after the rain stopped, just during sunset, the sky all moody yet beautiful in its own way.

Many beautiful puffy clouds as seen while flying above them. There are dark shadows around the clouds as reflections from the nearby sun (out of the picture). If you look really close you can even see ocean water through those clouds. The middle part of the image is sharp, the top and bottom is blurry to immitate a miniature effect.

This is kind of a #ThrowbackThursday - it's still so fresh in my mind, the recent vacation on Gran Canaria, but it's already in the past, a very pleasant memory. Even though there were some clouds in the sky that day, the general warmth let's you enjoy the scenery in a tshirt and shorts even in the winter months.
