Скоро на всех кормушках страны))) В холода начнутся битвы между зеленушками и синицами. Вообще-то разборки практически во всех случаях начинают зеленушки. Очень драчливые птицы. Если нет чужих и подраться не с кем, они устраивают битвы друг с другом)) Большинство птиц которые обитают на кормушке в холода обычно отступают и не связываются с этими мощноклювыми задирами. Хотя когда прилетает сойка или тем более наведывается ястреб, то они предпочитают поскорее смотаться, а потом облепить какое-то дерево поодаль и орать, что есть сил. Возмущаются))

You can hear them for sure but as soon as you get close enough for a shot, they’re gone and that's if you can see them at all.This juvenile female Pileated Woodpecker was more interested in foraging for the ants on the ground than where I was.

A roadside pond in rural Guelph #Ontario Canada was the choice of this Great Blue Heron's perfect place to grab a snack. It wasn't long in stalking mode before it captured a good size catfish and then moved to the far side of the pond to enjoy the fish in privacy.
