There's some irony in the influx of Messi fans to #MLS asking all these questions like "why is your league so weird" when yes, it's not exactly like La Liga or the EPL but many leagues around the world have a lot of the same mechanics, sometimes in different combos (not to mention of course most or all American non-soccer leagues).
