Here is a perfect example of how Mastodon works. Stacy came to Mastodon in November. She has 513 followers. She posts interesting wildlife info I enjoy, but without hashtags. I just discovered her now because someone I follow boosted her post within a timeframe that I would see in my timeline.

So.. I recently got some new friends to join Mastodon, but there's one problem.. they all went with .social b4 I could explain that I couldn't see that servers posts.
Can any of the mastoadmins tell me why .social is block / muted and if there's anything I can do..?

Growing pains...
Months in now to the great #MastodonMigration, and our community is being tested. Mastodon is not perfect. The interface needs polish, the feature set is a source of contention, and shiny new objects hold out promises to solve everything that frustrates us. But for all that, it is an amazing phenomenon. A rag-tag, people powered network threatens corporate domination of social networking. Together we can do this.
Absolutely, quite the opposite.
