Continuing to neglect other work but I feel like I'm on a roll with development for {sharepointr}.
I just added functions for listing "plans" from Microsoft Planner https://elipousson.github.io/sharepointr/reference/sp_plan.html
And listing tasks from an individual plan https://elipousson.github.io/sharepointr/reference/sp_tasks.html
Both return data frames by default which (IMHO) is kinder than returning R6 objects! #RStats #SharePoint #Microsoft365

Es gibt weitaus tiefgreifendere und härtere Verbote die durchgeprügelt wurden als ein Verbot von #Microsoft- Produkten wie #Windows, #MicrosoftOffice, #MicrosoftTeams, #MS365 / #Microsoft365, #Azure & Co.
Schließlich strecken Leute ja auch nicht mehr den rechten Arm in 45° Elevation aus um zugrüßen...

It returns either of two different (old) versions of the feed (with last-modified 15-Sep or 10-Sep), both miss a post from 21-Sep (Copilot GA). My guess: it is a CDN problem. This is the only feed @WhatsNewInOffice365 tracks behind the www.microsoft.com domain.

Microsoft wird zukünftig Microsoft 365 ohne Teams in der EU anbieten. Lustigerweise wird für Neukunden dabei noch eine knackige Preiserhöhung 🤑von 3€/User/Monat eingeführt.
Die neuen "ohne-Teams" Lizenzen wie z.B. Microsoft 365 E3 mit dem Zusatz "EEA (no Teams)" kosten 2€ weniger. Wer Teams benötigt, muss sich dann "Microsoft Teams EEA" für 5€/User/Monat dazu buchen.

Malgré la soumission de nos responsables à #Microsoft et l'implantation de plus en plus tôt de #Microsoft365 chez nos chères tètes blondes, pour ma classe au CO (secondaire 1), je mets en place un espace "auto-hébergé" sur #NextCloud (pas tout à fait auto-hébergé, c'est chez #infomaniak, mon raspberrypi ne supporterait pas la charge).
Cerise sur le gâteau, je pourrai leur faire un petit détours vers #markdown
Je suis en train de me battre avec les trucs de #Microsoft365, c'est vraiment l'horreur !
Je voulais utiliser SharePoint pour collaborer avec des collègues.
La création d'un nouveau "site" sharepoint est désactivée. Je ne peux en créer un qu'avec un group Teams.
Ensuite, si je veux faire une discussion, je clique sur "conversation" et c'est la boîte courriel qui est ouverte (sans aucune mise en contexte).
Franchement, ce truc, c'est à des années-lumières de #nextcloud.

@mderooij The new module has been so much nicer overall! It has a couple quirks, but not needing to go through the extensive process to get #PowerShell removing working on macOS is such an improvement, and it appears to handle multiple simultaneous connections (i.e. for functions/automations) much more reliably.

What do you all think about #Gmail vs #Outlook #email providers? Been using Gmail for years but starting to feel unhappy with things as I try to organize my inbox. Also already have #Microsoft365. Found out today Gmail filters to automatically delete email older than a certain date don't work, and that's frustrating. Also heard Outlook has more features for power users. I get lots of email so looking for what will help me be most #productive. Of course it has to be #accessible.

@thunderbird, I'm enjoying the updated Thunderbird 112 Beta UI, but I was wondering if you could give us the option to disable the tab area and/or the new top menubar depending on how we configure our UI. If I choose to use the left-most vertical menubar, the other areas seem redundant and take up space. Otherwise, I like the new direction! 👍

Microsoft is adding a 100GB Microsoft 365 tier for $1.99 starting January 30. It’s essentially the same OneDrive tier but with access to web and mobile Office apps and ad free Outlook email.
I think this is a smart move to get people to move up from the free version if they need a Microsoft 365 account. People may see it as an upgrade from the free 5GB to 100GB web/mobile Office access or gaining free features to their existing 100GB OneDrive subscription. Either way it should be a win for Microsoft as it puts their offering on par with Google One’s 100GB option.
How does it compare to iCloud+? Apple’s offerings are seemingly on a different level. Although they work with Apple’s “iWork” suite they’re more focused on non office work activities. No 100GB option but a 200GB for $2. It’s typical of the company to not be directly comparable to force a different perspective.

I have noticed that #Microsoft365 has decided to focus on dictation, translation and immersive reading tools in its office suite. I am reviewing #LibreOffice and I do not find enough tools for inclusion and integration. I know that the development is collaborative and disinterested, in fact I collaborate altruistically in the quality control, but I notice that in this matter the suite is very outdated. Do you plan to integrate in the future this type of tools in the interface?
