Just got a call from an Australian #mobile number saying had 2 transactions on my #visa card one #international from #Amazon for $1300 and one on #eBay for $300.
The auto call then asked me to press 1 to speak to visa.
The woman from the #subcontinent then asked me to install #TeamViewer on my phone to get a cancel code.
Please #boost the shit out of this. This will hit a lot of senior Australians because they don't ask #questions.
To finally get rid of the call I said TeamViewer had put a sign on my phone not to let sub continent c***s on this phone. Click okay or cancel.
She then called me a number of #French words and I asked if her #mother was #proud of her?
Ok, time to talk a bit about my #mom. I love my #mother, and we always had a very close relationship. But she always was a #bully in the ways she taught me how to be who she thought I should be « for my own good » - especially cleanliness, appearance, being neat, presenting. Our flat was always spotless. I developed #OCD as a result and I'm always ashamed of how I present myself to others.
Today I live in a bigg-ish house that I pretty much maintain by myself (not working at the moment my boyfriend working full time) and I thing I do a pretty good job. It's clean, smells good, it's nice to inhabit, even with the cat. Doing that with chronic illnesses.
I was doing a video chat with my mom this morning and she spotted some cat hair tumbleweeds in a corner. She had a scornful laugh that broke me and made a comment about it was « impossible! » I snapped and told her that it was not her place to comment on the state of my house. I'm 36, I'm partnered. I live 400 km away from her.

I have a woman's hands.
But they are not thin, elegant hands
They're stubby, thick, puffy.
My fingers are short.
They not 'womanly', but they are a woman's hands.
I knew a woman with hands like mine.
Puffier than mine. Darker than mine.
I watched her run them over piano keys, I saw them hold a cello bow
I observed them during the mundanity of doing laundry
They became a magical curative when they were run through my hair.
I held them countless times.
And they withered. As did she.
I was holding them when she died.
My mother's hands.
I have my mother's hands.
I'm gonna make good use of them
