There still appears to be an air of snobbery over #ClassicalMusic versus #music, the former even being referred to as 'real', implying that all else is simply not, I suppose.
I don't care what form your musical creativity takes or what you use to make it. There are people making perfectly good 'long-form' music (a reference sometimes used to distinguish classical from 'pop') in longer musical phrasings and musical pieces, using field recordings and synths.. and so on.

In 2017 verscheen het best album van #FleetwoodMac sinds 1987. Zonder de illustere Stevie Nicks, maar met alle overige leden. En dus met alleen songs van de andere twee schrijvers. Maar omdat Stevie er niet bij was werd het album niet uitgebracht als "Fleetwood Mac", maar als "Lindsey Buckingham / Christine McVie". En werd daarom geen echt groot succes, want een grote naam verkoopt nu eenmaal beter. Jammer, want het album is fantastisch, oordeel zelf. #music

Tuesday night I took in Vicky Chow playing Philip Glass’ “Piano Etudes, Book 1”.
It’s not Glass’ masterpiece but there’s good stuff in it, the playing was fine, Christ Church Cathedral was packed; it’s a lovely space.
You know what’s a real privilege? Being at a musical performance with no electricity involved, just the performer and the instrument. No audio system can reproduce the way that instrument snarled and sang.
Kinda like that guy that just made a city's pizza, I feel like you could just make up a subgenre like "Oh man, I love Worcester drill" but it's actually just shouty noise punk #music
