It took me two trips to the arboretum to get a close up of this tiny Brown Creeper that probes into crevices and picks at the loose bark of trees for insects in the woods. This one was almost at it's nest which was in behind the loose bark of this tree.

This very cute Eastern Cottontail Rabbit sitting in the rain was very photogenic. They are so trusting and allow you to get close before it will maybe move a few feet. Big ears, brown eyes and short fluffy white tail is a combination hard to resist. The Eastern Cottontails are a provincially protected species in Ontario.
