Her short, centre-parted hair is brick red, and her nipples are a similar colour. As is the elegant bird flying over her right shoulder. She is lying on her right, but propped up on her right elbow. Here eyes are cast down, as if in sadness.

A figurative depiction of three identical women in identical poses, halfway through a can-can kick. They have pinky-red skin, transparent skirts and no tops on. Their right hands are held to their red hair, depicted crudely in stripes. Their faces are drawn simply - just a nose and one eyebrow in an L shape, really. This is about the most innocent nude picture you are ever likely to see.

So, first, off, the whole thing is blue, but a silvery blue, like night-time. In the background is Venice's Isola di San Giorgio Maggiore, so that means the woman standing in front of us is thigh-deep in the lagoon where it bends round into the Giudecca Canal. She is completely nude, though we can't see her nipples or pudenda. (Maybe a slight hint of pubic hair?) Now it gets weird. This is not realism, it's... dunno, a bit cartoonish? Anyway, she is bending forward, with her hair a smooth whoosh backward down her back. Her face is flat, oval and masklike (think Salvador Dali, but not entirely), and in the water between her hands is a similar face/mask, staring straight up at the night sky. Floating off toward the campanile are four other oval faces/masks. It looks like a very bizarre baptismal scene. Either that or she's just drowned five people.

Side-on, we see two bodies stand face-to-face, nude, in full contact with each other, so we don't see any of their fun bits. They are framed from shoulder to upper thigh, and both have their arms raised, so we can't see their heads or faces. The figure on the right looks like a man, but the one on the left is more ambiguous. They are both grey, but with barely discernible discolouration that looks like bruising, especially where their genital areas are pressed against each other. Under the left-hand figure's armpit are what may just be abstract markings, but they also look a little like a woman's left eye and strands of fringe hair.

A figuratively painted woman sits with her face towards us, her body turned slightly to our right. She has a brown skirt on, though we only see the top of it. She is wearing a white short-sleeved blouse, though 'wearing' is arguable. It has fallen off her left shoulder, and though it's tucked into her skirt it is entirely open, showing her largish, pert breasts and pink nipples. From the neck up, she looks like a young Queen Elizabeth II, which is just odd. But Her Madge was known to have a fine pair of churrumbers, so maybe this is actually her? Alas, both she and the artist have carked it, so we will never know.

A voluptuous figure, sitting nude but demurely posed, with the mouthpiece of some sort of cornet nestled in her bosom. Her fingers and toes are (for some reason) the only pointy thing about her, for all else is generously curved. Her head looks tiny because of her Rubinesque figure, and because her hair has been shaped into two massive wingshapes. Her skin is a pale bronze, and she sits on a metallic yellow background.

A naked figure reclines propped up on cushions with their back turned to us, but featureless face turned towards us. They look womanly, from what we can see. There is a big dahlia-type flower in the top left, which is probably the decoration on the parasol, but it looks like the sun if your concentration falls mainly on the bum (which mine did, for I like bottoms). So you have this big flower/sun, then a wide streak of rusty brown background, then the pale skin, then the brown-sugar sand. I can't tell if the figure never had a face painted in, or whether it was included but then scrubbed out.

Simple flowing lines of gold mark a mass of large fronded leaves against a black background, and also form the outline of five curving nudes, one above the other, top to tail, in various poses. The topmost pair are least recognisable as people We see no faces, but two of the figures are particularly feminine. Abstract, elegant, with an art-deco air.
