I got the book of the TV series - some of it is even still valid today (checking tyres is still the same procedure 40 years later!) although distributors and carburettors are no longer used today - with petrol cars having fuel injection and electronic ignition (diesel engines aren't even mentioned once in this book!)
A throwback to the days when Britain had proper public service broadcasting, even on commercial TV channels - in 1983 #Yorkshire TV made an educational series along with the #AA about #car maintenance, which was an outside broadcast from an AA garage in #Morley ( a suburb just south of #Leeds )

The S800 is a sports car from Honda. Introduced at the 1965 Tokyo Motor Show, the S800 replaced the successful Honda S600 as the company's image car. With a redline of 9,500 rpm, it is one of the highest-revving sports cars produced for street use. The S800 competed with the Austin-Healey Sprite, MG Midget, Triumph Spitfire, Datsun Fairlady, and Fiat 850 Spider.

When I joined a few weeks ago #OldTimer I used debirdify to connect to my Twitter social graph. I think I picked up 300-400 people on the first pass, out of my 3K follow list on Twitter.
I'm now at 1K following, 4K followers. I hardly ever scroll back to the toots I read in my last session.
I had to set up a close friends list so I don't miss people I know well.
