There's no crouch button so you have to work your cover, so you're constantly ducking down and jumping up and blind firing over crates and bins (plus manual reloads 😁).

Will definitely jump in again today. It's only a £12 on rails shooter but it's pure arcade joy!

It's a really fun and creative game. Like the mobile game from the same developers "What the Golf" but in VR and with two Baseball bats.
Would definitely recommend it if you have a device where the game is available for. I had some hilarious moments.

Just picked this up on #PSVR2 after the Echoes update really improved the visuals on the Sony VR headset.
Really enjoying chillin' and learning the mechanics of the game.
Learning to fly here, from planet, through atmosphere, into space, through rings and then back to land on a space station.

I saw some people raving about a graphics update to No Man Sky on #psvr2. I'd put the game down for a bit and decided to check out the update and was not disappointed. It's not quite Horizon level detail but way better than it was pre update.
The latest No Man's Sky update seems to be the real deal. Everything becomes crystal sharp with no blurriness at all according to some Youtubers. I will test it out later tonight cause I was busy playing Graveyard Keeper. #psvr2 #vr #nomanssky #ps5 #gaming

Dementsprechend kann ich mir für mich weiterhin nicht vorstellen, ein 50-150h langes Story-Game in VR zu spielen. Es fühlt sich zu schnell zu anstrengend an, die Steuerung ist zu ungenau und die Controller halten nur ca. 2h durch. #PSVR2
Ein Fehlkauf war die Brille dennoch nicht: Ich kenne meine Anwendungsfälle aus der PSVR1 und die PSVR2 liefert diese gut ab.
#PSVR2 VR fühlt sich aber weiterhin deutlich anstrengender an als am Flat Screen zu spielen. Auch ist die Abbildungsqualität (Auflösung, Texturqualität, Kantenflimmern) zwischen den Spielen viel variabler als bei Flat Games.
Meine Favoriten bleiben Rhythmusspiele wie Beat Saber, Synth Riders, Ragnarock, Pistol Whip, kleinere Spiele wie Moss oder Puzzling Places und Gran Turismo. Horizon fühlt sich für mich weiterhin nach einer Tech-Demo an und klassische FPS haben mich noch nie interessiert.
#PSVR2 Nachdem nun die Adapter in Sehstärke die richtigen Werte haben bemerke ich einige spannende Dinge:
1. Ich habe keine Probleme mehr mit dem Sweet Spot.
2. Verzerrungen zum Rand hin sind deutlich weniger.
3. Die VR-Brille ist nun wirklich scharf.
Ohne die Adapter konnte ich diese Zustände nicht erreichen, egal, wie nah oder weit entfernt die Brille von den Augen war.

@rstockm meine #PSVR2 sieht nicht so schick aus, da finde ich die #Apple Brille deutlich eleganter. Der Haupteinsatzort ist die Wohnung oder ein Büro, da dürfte man wenig Menschen begegnen. Zum Arbeiten brauche ich sowas nicht, aber für Filme und Serien würde ich mir die #visionpro kaufen, wenn es wirklich so immersive und scharf/hell ist. Die PSVR2 ist sichtbar pixelig und verschwommen, Gran Turismo fahre ich aber sehr gern und regelmäßig. Das Horizon Kletter/Kampfspiel ist cool.
Watched the #playstation Showcase yesterday, so you don't have to:
- Everything looks gorgeous. There are no bad looking graphics anymore.
- Nintendo can pull off a much much more exciting and complex game than all of these combined. On 7 year old portable hardware.
- All the SciFi and fantasy franchises are so generic it could be the same game.
- The Controller/Screen thing is Sony's Wii U. Won't work.
- They fail hard on #psvr2 games.
- Metal Gear Remake and Spiderman are promising.
Surprise, a new #BeatSaber music pack released a couple hours ago! You can now enjoy 11 new tracks from #Queen! Bohemian Rhapsody should be both a blast and I bet tricky as hell. We'll find out! :D

#psvr2 Still not sure what to think about #moss for the #psvr2. It is beautiful and full of nice touches (high-fiving with a little mouse, when do you have a chance to do this in real live), and the puzzles are creative. Still, that moving from one small puzzle sandbox to another seems old-fashioned, particularly with a fade-out fade-in effect. Takes away the feeling you‘re in another world.

#PSVR2 is my first experience with VR. So far, it's pretty cool.
I've mostly been playing Moss and it's probably the best VR game I could've played first. It melds traditional 3D platforming puzzles with VR and motion controls into one very charming package. It required very little of me as a player new to VR.

I bought sports headbands for use with my #psvr2 and they really help with sweat and head pain, but they do not prevent the visor from slipping downwards, losing the sweet spot.
The good news: GT7 on the PSVR2 is fantastic!
The bad news: I might need to return it if I can’t gain my VR legs.
I lasted a lap and a half of the nurburgring before I had to stop and take a breather.
A few signs of hope were:
- I didn’t get ill straight away
- I was taken off guard with the game moving instantly from the 2D mode into the cockpit view during a rolling start. Really startling if you aren’t expecting it.
Will try again later tonight.

Refund request for second copy of Horizon Call of the Mountain currently rejected on grounds that I had already started to download it. Raising a complaint on this because one reading is that they will never give a refund on an accidental second purchase. #psvr2
#PSVR2 day 2: I tried sitting in a swivel chair. I also enabled "snap" turning in Horizon. This seemed to help.
I was able to play a little longer before feeling any nausea. I think yesterday I only lasted 10-15 minutes in No Mans Sky, and then I had pretty strong nausea. Today I made it 20-25 minutes, but I was more ready for that weird sensation so I quit while I was ahead. But I'm still feeling light nausea.
VR is such a trip!

#psvr2 finally got myself to play #HorizonCalloftheMountain on #psvr2 today (my first attempt had been frustrating due to controller issues). I like the very physical approach, particularly the climbing. Where Aloy was hopping up those mountains like it’s no big deal, me just pressing “up”, this is hard work, orienting yourself etc. Not sure if I don’t find the silly walking overdone. Shooting an arrow is as close to real life as it gets (and that’s how far I came)

Finally setup and tried out my PSVR2. vVeey impressive. It’s really light. Single cable is fine. Mounted cameras are awesome. The ear buds are gonna be a problem though as they don’t work with my small ear canals even with the smallest bud size (same problem with Apple AirPods).
Played about in No Man’s Sky - very slick! Smooth movement made me feel sick though.

Gran Turismo 7 VR Replay. It puts me on the side of the road as a spectator to the race I just drove.
It turns out that if you end up with no ill effects in #psvr2 (Thanks, Chimes ginger!) then you may be an idiot and stand for 12 hours on hardwood in socks. This will expose your old back, which sadly is not virtual.
