La Pudibonde (pour la chenille) ou Patte étendue (pour le papillon), est une espèce de #lépidoptères de la famille des Erebidae. Le nom vernaculaire de « patte étendue » vient de sa position au repos. Celui de « pudibonde », de l’attitude de défense de la chenille qui courbe l’avant de son corps vers le bas.
