Tue mir schwer mit den ersten Folgen, manches wirkt so konstruiert und schwerfällig, dass ich mich frage, ob dem Stoff nicht besser ein radikaler Stilbruch – z.B. als Verschnitt aus "Denver-Clan" & Weinbau- Branche & Jahr 2399... 🙂🍷 – gut getan hätte.
Nun ja, Picard gehört wohl einfach in den Weltraum und noch trägt natürlich Stewarts Charisma.

Finally struggled through #StarTrek #Picard S2. You know something is bad when you not only fight through watching it, but it also manages to ruin the memories of things you considered great. Not sure we’ll ever manage to get through #Discovery (stuck on latter part of S2).
The #Borg outstayed their welcome in #TNG already. Now we get painful goodie Borgs resulting from yet another awful monologue. I don’t even care if that spoils anyone. My soul has already been spoilt.

Just went through a pile of cables and found four changelings pretending to be USB cables when they were actually hollow and could only carry power, not data. Yes, I was watching some Picard last night.
I know it's trivial to build this, but you can't buy the parts for the price of the whole.
I marked the traitor "charging only" cables with some scarlet tape of shame.
As much as I loved #Picard season 3 I actually liked Season 2 better and find the inexplicable near total erasure of season 2 a bit confounding. Like, why couldn't Picard reunite with Laris, who was in the first episode of THIS season, at the end of the Season? They couldn't get Whoopi, which is kinda crazy given they got nearly everyone else from the crew TNG, but at least they mentioned her in the finale.
And where the AF are the Jurati? Shelve them sure but one vague line mention? #StarTrek

Denn was in #Picard als Finale aufgetischt wird habe ich bereits gesehen: Sowohl in den Finalen von Lower Decks als auch Prodigy! Und in letzterem Fall sogar als richtig gut ausgearbeitete emotionale Story, im Gegensatz zur gähnend langweiligen Borg/Changeling-"Story" von Picard.
So ist meine Kritik an Picard auch eher dies: Das komplette Fehlen von Ideen, das Fehlen jedweder Kreativität.
Ich bin so enttäuscht von Star Trek #Picard. Ähnlich wie bei jenem Heise-Redakteur https://www.heise.de/meinung/Zum-Ende-der-3-Staffel-Mit-Picard-stirbt-auch-die-Hoffnung-auf-gutes-Star-Trek-8976302.html?seite=all funktionierten die ersten Folgen als Lockmittel, um dann in der NuTrek-Tristesse zu verschwinden.
Auch über den Tod des Buchuniversums, um die Kontinuität zur uninteressanten Picard-Dystopie zu schaffen, habe ich mich bereits aufgeregt. Was sie in Picard aus Ro Laren machen ist aber noch einmal eine besondere Frechheit.
Nein, was mich wirklich enttäuscht ist das Finale.

This is what I was expecting as it was unfolding on screen. I'm disappointed they didn't go through with it. The #Enterprise is supposed to be the flagship and most powerful vessel in the fleet. This ship is neither. It certainly didn't ruin #StarTrek #Picard for me; it just wasn't my preference.

I very much feel like I'm one of the few #Trekkies that did not like season 3 of #StarTrek Picard. The first two seasons weren't perfect, but they tried some fresh new things. S3 was just a lazy nostalgia fest. All fan service, no substance. And don't even get me started on the big season reveal bring back the Borg yet again. Yawn. I'm honestly sad about how popular this season was with fans.

In the story, #Picard leaves the bridge and takes the turbolift to his quarters, thus braking the lore that the USS Enterprise D actually has a bathroom on the bridge. (bottom right). Every Trekkie *hates* authors breaking the series' lore.
The point here is not that #ChatGPT can't tell proper stories (no surprise), but that people fail to realise it.
They see the shiny facade and completely ignore the bullshit behind.

It's about Captain #Picard suffering from diarrhoea on the bridge.

One thing that always ruins SF for me (on screen) is scale.
TNG did it making the Ent-D fit in Space Dock.
Picard did it with the Titan having 3 shuttle bays…. And The Ent-F magically being EXACTLY the right size for Space Dock, meanwhile the museum staircase had a door JUST THE RIGHT SIZE for Ent-D.
Just pick a size and stick with it!

It was beautifully written. It brought together all the right elements, perfectly set up by the first two seasons. It was shameless fanservice and nostalgia and I loved it. It was a far more epic and conclusive end than "All Good Things ...". No wonder, it was allowed to do it in 10 hours rather than 100 minutes.
My heart broke a bit at "I miss her voice". Very nice nod, thank you for that. ❤️

Jag älskar att den nya kaptenen på Enterprise är Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) från Star Trek: Voyager. Den karaktären och Ryans skådespeleri har varit en behållning under tre säsonger av Picard.
Nu hoppas jag på en Star Trek: Legacy-serie med captain Seven och hennes besättning.
