I vaguely remember the spaceships. I was too old to have an interest in them when they came out. Those Fisher Price Barn sets were in every toy chest in every house when I was growing up though. I believe a version was still being made in the 90s. But the mash-up of toys into one amalgamation of creative #play has been forever.

First draft of thesis handed in. Reading a bit of Lévi-Strauss' Structural anthropology and pretty embarrassed I haven't read this earlier. A local #theatre company is going to perform a one-act #play I wrote! I’ve been invited to attend auditions next weekend, another new experience.
The performance will be on the evening of June 5 in Nyack, NY. It’s free and everyone is invited.
The play is called “Come Right Away. Don’t Rush.” It’s based on events that could have happened (but didn’t) on the night my mother suffered the injury that would end her life a few months later. Not nearly as depressing as it sounds! I promise! #writing
