Some real progress on #policy shown today by #Starmer, but I question this: "Starmer says first-time buyers will be given priority on any new houses built in their areas, and that overseas buyers would be prevented from purchasing them." Do a significant percentage of overseas buyers snap up properties suitable for first time buyers? I find that very hard to believe, especially post-Brexit. This reeks of dog whistle politics.
Worth noting that I can never think about #AI in the #policy or #legal arena without thinking about the Dutch tax AI case.
