Frankly, if I started expressing my actions in #polish using 1st person gender neutral conjugation (which is technically legal but isn't really used, like "ja widziałom"), it'd probably be seen as weirder than if I started using 3rd person forms ("ta osoba widziała", which actually uses fem. grammatical gender but without expressing the person's gender).
The former would probably be seen as an error, while the latter as poetic or literary device.
Conjugation makes using gender neutral language in #polish harder. The verbs take different form depending on the subject's gender.
However, I didn't think before that this would pose a problem for sentences made in the first person. After all, I know what gender to use for myself.
Then I went on to translate somebody's comment to polish — and it turned out that sentences in the first person also require some gender neutral fiddling.

"Mr. Driberg...asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he is aware that despite the efforts of the #Polish Government there are persistent and widespread manifestations of #antisemitism in the Polish Forces in this country and that a number of Jewish soldiers & sailors are now undergoing or awaiting court martial for absenting themselves from the Polish Forces in the hope of securing their transfer to the British Force'
And this brings us up to today('s date in 1944).
Left independent MP Tom Driberg had all along been working, along with the National Council for Civil Liberties (NCCL: forerunner of UK Liberty; equivalent to US ACLU) to assist the #Jewish soldiers in the #Polish Army protesting antisemitism.
The arrest of the soldiers forced him to bring the fight into the open and prepare to raise the matter in the House of Commons.

In late March, 1944 despite the warning from the #Polish authorities, some 30 additional #Jewish soldiers--finding that #antisemitism had increased rather than decreased--traveled from Scotland to London seeking transfers to the British Army.
This time, the hammer came down: On 30 March, London police & Polish MPs raided the Yiddish theater where the soldiers were staying, placed them under arrest, & sent them back to Scotland for a court martial.
The authorities approved the transfer of 134 #Polish #Jewish soldiers to the British Army in February 1944 but then drew a line:
In mid-March 1944, #Polish Defence Minister Kukiel issued 2 Orders of the Day: 1 announcing that absence without leave would be treated as desertion in wartime—in the case of “conspiracy,” potentially carrying the death penalty (& threatening the offenders'' families)—& another condemning both "desertion" & antisemitism
The efforts of the London #Polish government & military to assure the #Jewish soldiers that they were welcome proved unavailing.
In January 1944, 68 soldiers left their posts in Scotland & traveled to London demanding to join the British Army.
Anxious about bad publicity, UK & Polish authorities silently approved the transfers. The Poles established a commission of inquiry on #antisemitism, but its biased nature prompted another 134 soldiers to leave.
The #Passover #Seder photo (PT) probably dates from April 1943, as the #WarsawGhettoUprising began.
#Antisemitism had been a problem in the #Polish Army in France in 1940 & persisted in the #UK, despite an Order of the Day from General Sikorski.
The situation deteriorated tho the Polish authorities established an office for #Jewish affairs, sent a general to address the 1943 High Holy Day gatherings, & issued a special publication on the Polish-Jewish soldier in past & present

Is #English your native language, as it is mine? #Polish and #Czech are both #Slavic languages, and I've found Czech way more challenging than the other languages I've dabbled with (#Spanish and #French, both of which are #Romance languages, and seem to have a lot in common with English in terms of their #grammar, #SentenceStructure, and largely #Latin-based lexicons).
Of course, English is primarily a #Germanic language, so the reasons why Romance languages seem easier to me than Slavic languages are probably best explained by someone who knows a lot more about #Linguistics, #LanguageHistory, and #ProtoIndoEuropean.

Honestly my #dog eats better than I do!
She's a #Polish Hunting Spaniel (Polski spaniel myśliwski) and we've found that a lot of food we get back in Netherlands doesn't always agree with her - but more game stuff suits her better - it seems she was definitely adapted for the environment Vs being able to handle "western diets" which is usually beef or chicken.
