Our work draws partly on evolutionary principles. Including the role #Ostrom's "core design principles" can play in facilitating multi-level or #GroupSelection & subsequent #MajorEvolutionaryTransitions
There's a fair amount of privilege...fully-abled people don't have problems in their personal experience, so they don't examine issues closely.
#Empathy and #prosocial values are learned and cultivated. Describing a scene to someone is not a drag.
The #AltText utility is a gift meant to be used happily and creatively. It would be a shame if empathy is diluted on #Mastodon in part due to a failure of imagination!

The Acceptance and Commitment Training/Therapy (ACT) Matrix can be useful in surfacing individual and shared models

Suffering a little #future #anxiety? It can be fun and entertaining ,to escape into the #Netflix survival show; #ALONE. Having done so, it strikes me like a hammer to the head- we did not #evolve to survive alone in #wilderness. It will literally drive you #insane! Off the top of my head?
1. Assume #goodfaith, until clearly proven otherwise.
2. If asked a question: answer it clearly & as helpfully as possible, avoid treating questions like statements w/ hidden meanings.
3. Ask, don't assume.
4. Don't work alone, don't make big decisions impacting many people alone. Consensus is worth the work.
5. Have a clear vision that excites everyone.
