Reply from the #PyConDE team to my question on whether their health guidelines will continue to be non-existent, whereas #PyConUS, #PyConIT and others proactively work to protect their attendees from #CovidIsNotOver with mask requirements and similar.

Answer: venue has antiviral air filters, there will be hand sanitizer and attendees are welcome to wear masks. FAQ might get adjusted.

Will await potential FAQ update. Might still cancel & rather attend sth more @phpledge compatible 😐

Community leaders in Python continue to set the bar for the rest of the tech industry in so many respects 🏆

I salute and thank the organizers of #PyConAU and #KiwiPyCon for taking the @phpledge and committing to safer and more inclusive events 😷

I hear #PyConUS is also going to be exemplary. I also like what I see of #PyConIT and #PyCascades, and we'll be stepping it up for #NBPy as well. These events prove that it's possible to convene in reasonable safety at many different scales. #PHPledge

I have just submitted my proposal at #pyconit.
Let's see if I will also be a speaker this year🤩

I am very excited to release the new ticket purchase flow for PyCon Italia in the next few days 😃

It wasn't easy, and to avoid breaking it I decided to just update the UI/UX for now, and leave the messy cart/voucher/prices logic untouched.

I am really looking forward to a big refactoring of it someday 😥
