#Queen were a big part of my life growing up, though I was too young to ever see them live. They were my Mum's favourite band, and I still love to listen to them. Their stuff never gets old.

Qween rocked Cobh on Sunday night, the last night of the Cobh People’s Regatta 2023. They’re an outstanding Queen tribute band, and they played all the hits, and soon had everyone singing along, dancing and cheering to the music. A short break in the middle of the set was required for the fireworks at 10pm, but the music started up shortly afterwards to the delight of everyone around.

It's not the best album, by a long way, and it definitely introduces a different sound to the band (partly due to having dispensed once and for all with the "no synths" rule) but I've never thought it's as bad as many hardcore fans make out.
