It used to be a bandit hideout up until they were wiped out when they fought against the nearby capital city in the most recent civil war.
As none were able to return to this hideout and none knew of its location it lay uninhibited for numberous years.
Soon it became shelter for a group of beasts who unbeknownst to them rest just feet away from a great hoard of treasure and riches.

I had an idea for a Wings of Fire RP group, called Arcs of Fire. It's basically a post-series story with focus on political intrigue, intertribal relationships, hybridism / discrimination, and all the other messy things that would come from a unification of the tribes post-series. I run a fortnightly game on Fridays, and one of my players is vision impaired.
Are you vision impaired yourself or do you know any vision impaired/blind players? What do you do for maps, items, etc that are tactile or audible rather than purely visual?
At the moment we designate another player to be their eyes for the night, and everyone is very understanding, I'll ham up extra detail for the monster reveals etc, but our vision impaired player wants more independence about.
So far their phone can read out the numbers on a dice rolling app, but its clunky navigation still, a d you cant preprogram the bonuses (like ur attack roll or saves).
Also for maps we've tried a few things, like humble white out pen on paper, or making a second dungeon on a set of cardboard cut outs (reuse and recycle, ppl).

I just realised something. In #TTRPG #Fantasy worlds like those of #DnD, #Pathfinder, #DSA and the likes, it is completely normal and accepted that there are multiple different deities and everyone is worshipping a different one. You would find a temple or church of each deity in every larger city. And apart from the usual stereotypes and superstition, is just assumed that they coexist peacefully.
I wish the real world could be like more like this.
@alghost Kinematic mode (Freeze Mode = Kinematic) turned out to be behaving very weirdly. It seems like any outside movement is countered by the physics engine. The object just flickers and doesn't actually go anywhere.
Your suggestion of placing them in a regular polygon around the cursor works really well, I'm going to keep that.
Lastly, updating the velocity in `_integrate_forces` works really well too, it makes the dice react more to the environment, which is nice. I can also add some "gravity" towards the cursor. However, it doesn't seem to prevent them from getting out of bounds and disappearing. It's less likely than just reparenting, but it can still happen, despite "continuous CD" being active. I might just have to hard-clamp their position under all circumstances.

It makes me really sad that I've been looking for a roleplay group for over a decade and I still can't find one that works for me. I can only find stuff that's depressing, horny, edgy, violent, sci-fi, lacking any furries, full of minors, or a combination of those.
I've had people link me to Discord server search sites which is unhelpful. I'd prefer to hear about someone's recommendation based on someone's firsthand experiences with a place.

Oh crap, turns out reparenting makes it really easy to throw the dice out of bounds. I might go back to my old technique of making the mouse cursor the center of gravity instead. Unfortunately, there is no engine feature for that, so I have to write (and maintain) code.

I'm making slow but steady progress on my multiplayer dice roller with the #GodotEngine! I'm still not sure wheter I should make the grabbing and throwing using simple reparenting or physical contraints/joints. What you see in the video is using reparenting. I like it because there is way less latency. It feels more immediate.
I just need a nice way to cluster the dice nicely around the cursor instead of just keeping them at their relative distances, which involves a lot of math code I would like to avoid.
I want to use as many engine features as possible for maximum performance and least code to maintain.

Drew my #CityOfMist character, Eddie Wang. He is a hustler and con man who is also a sometimes avatar of Son Wukong.
He is a member of "The Chang Gang" that operates out of Little Seoul in New Atlantis, a city constructed in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Our game is heavily influenced by Supernatural, Grand Theft Auto, and Big Trouble in Little China.
I was heavily influenced by Lupin III for my character.
Ranking the #Starfield faction storylines from my favorite to least favorite. Rankings based on themes, gameplay, and narrative. I'll provide some thoughts as well.
1) Ryujin Industries - My favorite, especially as I am playing a cyber-runner. The corporate intrigue and dubious morality was very fun to explore and there were some neat characters attached to the story.
Some of the missions were a bit janky and could be cheesed, but made sense for a cyber-runner. Fun #roleplay potential.

Trying to do scolding / dommy chat on OnlyFans without using the banned word "young" (as in "young lady" and "young man") is surprisingly hard. Best alternative I've come up with is "bad boy/girl" and "you naughty thing" - which has the advantage of being gender neutral, of course. Any other ideas?

Voltaire is Himiko/Pink's flaaffy in Pokemon Pink, an experimental #fanfiction / #roleplay I've been writing/generating in #AIDungeon to see how it does with Pokémon adventures and stories with #rationalfic elements. Also, because Pokémon is fun to write about, and open-ended role-playing games may actually be the best use of the setting.
This is an extension of the experiment/story, making a real mastodon account to match the one Voltaire mentions having in Chapter 2, to see what it's like to have a pokémon posting on the human internet.

Second, I did my master's in #computerScience, focusing on #machineLearning. My thesis was on classification and segmentation of aerial images from Switzerland.
