He painted their fashionable hairstyles, hats, shawls and accessories in minute detail. Though this seems almost mocking now, it wasn't at the time. I'm considering going to Rotterdam for a vacation, but I wasn't sure how friendly folks are towards trans and non-binary people.
I was also thinking of visiting some towns near the coastal dams, like #Scharendijke and #Stavenisse and #Zierikzee. I photograph nudibranch, and there seem to be a lot in those areas according to iNaturalist.
I know the general advice is that the southern part of the country is not trans-friendly. However, I didn't know if that applied to southwestern towns near the coast.
For context, I'm a short AFAB person with a beard who wears colorful masculine cut clothes. People tend to assume I'm either a trans man or a cis gay man, so I'm interested in how that might cause people to treat me.

This is the only painting by Titian in a Dutch collection. The Venetian master painted the scene when he was between eighty and ninety years old. Characteristic of his late style are the wide, bushy strokes. The meaning of the work has amazed us for years: is it a complex allegorical representation, an image of the young Bacchus, or just a dog portrait?

🇳🇱 Apparently they are going to make blue hydrogen instead of grey hydrogen in Rotterdam.
The captured CO2 is going to the Porthos project. That project is going to pump 2,5 million ton CO2 per year down into an old gas field. Quite a lot.
What do we think of that? Blue is better than grey, but green would have been even better.
