Нет, он не то чтобы исчез полностью, а скорее утратил четкие контуры и размылся: работающие из дома пользователи подключаются к корпоративной сети, к облачным хранилищам, к виртуальным машинам, контейнерам, веб-приложениям, и все перечисленные элементы могут работать независимо друг от друга. Как обеспечить безопасность в этом случае? Last weekend I stumbled upon a #captcha service provided by the European Union, either self hosted or as SaaS.

This looks quite interesting, although I find it disconcerting that the documentation is in docx files instead of Markdown or PDF. Annoying on the other hand is that the server component requires Java/Tomcat.
Has anyone tested the captcha with #TYPO3 already? I'll take a closer look at the #SaaS version when I get a chance.

I wanted so much to fill out the "State of #HTML Survey 2023" and the #javascript #SaaS #SPA they're using to host the survey app showed me a loading spinner for over an hour after signing in and that basically says it all, doesn't it?

For anyone moaning that #jitsi now requires you to sign in with a massive corporation (#microsoft's #github, #google or #meta's #facebook) to use its (previously) excellent #video #WebRTC platform:
Try #nextcloud which has a "Talk" app for chat and video/audio calls. You can #selfHost or find a #saas for this #openSource tool that has loads of really solid group features (primarily file sharing but *so* much more).

I’m thinking of starting a small, niche, #SaaS. Its particular use case is ripe for (financial) #abuse, and I’m not going to build and run it unless I can *really* design ~95% of abuse out. One of the mechanisms I want to use is a hard block on accepting potentially stolen credit cards.
Q: Can I, as an #online #retailer, take #CreditCard #payments as /irrecoverably/ as if someone handed me cold hard cash? In other words, pushing “is this REALLY Alex making this purchase?” onto the CC system?
