Hi! Wanted to share something that i have been playing with c:
Recently I came across this technique used in art therapy, that uses principles of grounding and mindfulness to help manage anxiety and other overwhelming emotions.
Been doing one per week on Sundays. I decided to add my own twist and for each piece, name the more prevalent 4-7 feelings and assign each one a color.
The process is extremelly relaxing and calming 🖍️

Was disappointed I couldn't load a PDF but here's today's writing efforts. It is raw and unedited apart from a typo correction. It's a JPEG as it's just a tad over the 500 characters (at 1400- something) and I haven't discovered any work a rounds & a string of posts doesn't feel right.

Only had time for a quick half hour (😒: thanks chores) of being creative but it feels so good to be getting things out of my head or wherever they come from and out into the world, in this case some scribbles on paper. Looks like some sort of ancient script from when creatures still used to write with their hands and these quill like things called *checks notes* pens.
Will get it typed up & posted on here as soon as I have had some grub.
This is the last of three rough concepts I made for a roadtrip scene in Nexus Studio's "This Tapedeck is a Timemachine" short a while back. This version was the closest to the original idea; a nice, calm drive through the countryside

This is rough concept I made for Nexus' "This Tapedeck is a Timemachine" short quite a while back. The characters are on a roadtrip for this scene, and I came up with a few options. I was excited when we went with this option for the final, as it was inspired by many drives through redwood forests growing up.
