Just got my arse kicked by the boss of the third dungeon in #SilentHope... Even getting there was a struggle as the levels are getting a lot bigger and more complex now. Will try with a different character tomorrow and make sure I have some sort of freeze resist

Second boss down, unlocked the third area and a couple of subclasses (for archer and rogue) I love how you can reset your skill points at any time with no penalty, makes it super easy and fun to mess about with different builds and find something you like. More games should do this instead of making you commit to a skill with no idea how good it is
I’m becoming mildly addicted to a game called Silent Hope. It’s a dungeon crawler that has the fight, loot, upgrade cycle. But the chat you have with the lonely princess while you grind is strangely poignant. #silenthope #rpg #switch #game #dungeoncrawler

Spent the evening with this, good game. Got all 7 characters leveled up a bit and unlocked their 3 basic skills. They're all fun to play with some nice synergy between skills. This game has quite an addictive gameplay loop, had to force myself to turn it off just now, strong "just one more run before bed" feelings
Feeling like I've only scratched the surface, lots of hidden depth and scope for some fun builds later on when you unlock subclasses
I like it a lot. Marvelous!

AHHHHHH Only a few more days until Silent Hope. Rune Factory Japan posted crossover art by Minako Iwasaki, with the heroes of Rune Factory 4 dressed in SH classes. Frey is so cute as a farmer AHHHHHHHH!

#SilentHope demo was ok. I understand the loop of going into the abyss, getting resources, upgrading your class, upgrading your armpit, getting items and then being able to explore further can be addictive. But I’m worried it’s overly simplistic. I’ll prob check reviews but I probably won’t be getting this.

I have played the Silent Hope demo, and it is the kind of game that will get 7/10 reviews and which I will happily play for 60 hours.
Explore, loot, get gear, repeat, I love that cycle. You can pet the cows. The tiny farmer says "om nom nom" when she eats a turnip to get buffs.
I enjoyed the Nintendo Direct. It didn't leave me howling and licking the screen, but honestly I need a rest after this spring.
Oh look Silent Hope has a demo out. (howling resumes)
Nintendo direct tomorrow 7am Pacific, yayyy, so it is time to get my wishlist out.
Silent Hope and Mineko info will be enjoyed.

The wifi held! So I saw the whole direct. Mostly stuff for other friends (I can sense their excitement) but I am down for wiggling in my living room for Wario, wrangling DQ monsters, and whatever rpg nonsense is involved with Silent Hope (does the maid throw knives or a javelin? Either way, I like her.)
