For six miserable months, I came to work every day feeling like an impostor until I found a #developer job at another company. Did they intend to get rid of me? Who knows.
Am I the only one who thinks it's weird for a #porn company to pull its affiliate support rep off answering #affiliate emails during development sprints? They told me:
"While we treat every issue with urgency, we work in sprints here and do not just shotgun small issues into the middle of our sprints or else nothing would ever get done. 3 days is certainly not enough time to diagnose something."
I'm not a #SoftwareDeveloper but "sprints" is #Agile jargon, right? Is this weird, or is it me?

It's amazing to me how many #SoftwareDeveloper s that I meet that are low tech outside of work. Never built their own PC nor cracked open any electronic device to tinker with it. Never even changed the default font of their IDEs!

I am desperately trying to figure out a way to 1. find vegan creators and 2. to support them (if I like the product) without others getting a huge piece of it.
Please understand that as long as I support #creators who consume animal products, I also support the exploitative system I am against as a vegan PLUS the huge amount, which goes to rich people, I don't even know.
Trying to do something good and having values to stick with, but doing the opposite is called #cognitivedissonance and I want to get rid of it.
Following #sustainable #creators could help to consume only products, which was created by #mindful people and if I like the creator or the product, I want to be able donate something without any cruelty involved and without compunction.

I'm a #PHP #SoftwareDeveloper working for the UK government. I collect and abandon hobbies but at the moment, when I'm not walking my #Corgi or working on my #SelfHost #Homelab you might find me #MiniaturePainting, or playing #Boardgames / #TabletopGames, or #VideoGames on my #Steamdeck and #PC
I also do a bit of #Bouldering mostly indoors but sometimes outside. In the past I've flown #RacingDrones.
Work #Introduction time
For 15 ish years I've worked professionally as a #SoftwareDeveloper where I spent about half of that time developing #MobileApps for large American media corporations with a focus on #iOS.
For the other half I jumped around developing full page flash sites when that was a thing and most recently working as a #GeneralistProgrammer for the mobile division of a triple A game studio doing a little bit of everything.
The field I'm most interested in atm is #DevOps.
