This is what I’m currently working on: A Hifi streaming device for Apple Music. It shall run on a @Raspberry_Pi with a HifiBerry DAC attached. The streamer shall have a touchscreen and shall be remote controllable using an iPhone app. Additionally it shall support AirPlay (recieving audio only) and Spotify Connect.

@_Hannahind Nach dem Bekanntwerden dieser Vorfälle dürften die meisten den Konzerten von #Rammstein fernbleiben. Bis ich davon hörte, hatte ich Lieder der Band in meinem Playlists auf #Youtube und #Spotify. Diese habe ich seitdem gelöscht.
Mich interessiert nicht mal, ob diese Vorfälle illegal waren, oder nicht. Wichtig ist das schon, aber für mich persönlich ist die Legalität nicht relevant. Für mich ist das ganze einfach creepy as fuck, und ich brauche das nicht in meiner Musikwelt.

I wonder how hard would it be to make a heavy metal band to steal songs of #russian bands which have always been OK but got partially wrecked by #russism and now should be cancelled.

For me, some of their songs is exactly the reason why I grew up as a principled individual who stands for freedom and liberty. A lot of their stuff was anti-authoritarian.

I've built #Spotify from source without issue and just setup printing / scanning . Using #Runit for services is a doddle too no cumbersome #Systemd . We used to be friends. Then you shoved the entire library section into a single sidebar. All 6 pages... into 1/3 of the screen.
Your new design is cramped, and hard to navigate. And I get a headache whenever I look for a playlist.

@Skeletor Unironically, it's a meme that soothes me in moments of self-injury like the one that's been going on for the last few weeks. Or when #Spotify support has been driving me around in circles for about as long with automatic responses to my rather specific account problem. But I'm trying to do what I can.
A link doing the rounds, trying to petition #Spotify to take ownership of the #Flatpak package for #Linux. In my opinion, they really shouldn't have used the "2 million downloads" number, because the *vast* majority of those are delta updates from the same people who already have it installed. There's ~110K machines with the Spotify Flatpak installed. They should have used that number, as it's more genuine. Here's my quick take on #boomy and #spotify:
1. Nothing new abt click fraud. It's been around since the dawn of internet ads. #AImusic = great way to take fraudulent advantage of streaming services. Prob lots on YouTube too.
2. Plenty of "legitimate" uses, maybe even some interesting ones.
3. #AI driving a larger divide in cultural expression btn stuff made for profit & stuff made for passion. Prob good for everyone except musicians who earn $ making commodity music.
