This morning 1030, I met student friends from #Ukraine in #Bewley's in Grafton Street. There was quite a queue & I figured, oh yes, #StPatrick's weekend. But then I realised the upstairs was closed & asked about it.The very nice staff said they can't get enough staff to work in hospitality so are only serving on ground floor ¬ all of ground floor & the staff have to already live in Dublin because no flats to rent. #SadDay. The answer is Yes – eating corned beef always counts as a penance!
I literally slept seven hours for the first time in years last night after I turned in my Urban Fantasy series, THE BLESSED & POSSESSED trilogy into Falstaff Books. That was five years of writing four books, multiple-multiple-multiple readings of translations of Bible, interviews, and toil.
Now to figure out the next 3-5 years with a higher output. And maybe sleep through winter.
