Picard Season 3 reconned at least Picard Season 2 and that's awful.
Star Trek, as far as I can remember, has never negated canon. In Season 2 Jurati changed the Borg. For the better. Now, in Season 3, Picard and the others say no Borg for 10 years, and they're back to being bad guys.
They negated all of Season 2 (and even a bit of Season 1) for a TNG reunion. Put fan service over canon. It disappointed me greatly and I haven't seen the finale yet.

So... I really disliked the first two seasons of the show. I didn't think the plot was very good, or the writing.
I did wind up liking the third season even though you could probably argue it was also fairly schlocky. I couldn't help notice this thing about the plot though.
The whole thing hinges on a mind virus that infects the minds of young people through technology. Only the old people are immune to this mind virus, and have to save everyone from it.
Now I'm not sure I like it anymore. >.<

I can't stress how much I love seeing women in TV and film in positions of action and authority in flat shoes. I recently finished 'StarTrek: Picard' and was irritated by Seven of Nine's heels with her Starfleet uniform. In contrast, in 'Strange New Worlds' (and also 'LowerDecks', but animated characters have less bone, joint, and tendon issues for the most part) so far, it's a sea of sensible flats! I put it to all that Jeri Ryan's legs would be just as banging as Rebecca Romijn's are in flat shoes.
I am not a heel hater, I have several pairs! But for real, I own flat boots for a purpose, and I find nothing more ridiculous, nothing takes me out of my suspension of disbelief than a women kicking butt in 3 inch heels. Beam me up? Sure! Fight the Borg in heels? Give me a break. Medical would be full of ankle injuries.

I very much feel like I'm one of the few #Trekkies that did not like season 3 of #StarTrek Picard. The first two seasons weren't perfect, but they tried some fresh new things. S3 was just a lazy nostalgia fest. All fan service, no substance. And don't even get me started on the big season reveal bring back the Borg yet again. Yawn. I'm honestly sad about how popular this season was with fans.
Took me a while to figure out what was so familiar about him, but I finally got it.
I'm only up to S1 E7, "Nepenthe" on ST Picard, where Jean-Luc stays with Riker and Troi, but it's not supposed to make me cry is it?
Because I'm crying.
