Wir stehen in einem lichten Wald, in dem menschliche Figuren aus spiegelndem Material stehen und dadurch die Umgebung in sich spiegelt und daher für Kontrast sorgt

im Wald steht ein Stück eines Baumstammes, aus dem Künstler ein Feenhasu gestaltet haben mit Treppen aus den Wurzeln, einer Holzeingangstür und vielen kleinen Fenstern mit Rundbögen.
Oben auf dem Dach ist ein Schornstein, auf dem eine Fee aus Metall sitzt

Photography and Art. In a patch of forest, covered with light moss, are human outlines. It is an art action. The figures are made of stainless steel and have different outlines of standing people. The environment is reflected in them and so appears an almost ghostly impression of people who become or became nature.

The six male and female figures represent a vestige, a faint trace of the past people and communities that once occupied and lived in this space. The figures absorb their environment, reflecting on their surface the daily changes of life in the forest. They create a visual notion of non–space, a void, as if they are at one moment part of our world and then, as they fade into the forest, they become an intangible outline.

I just love this mural. I’ve posted some time ago, but can’t get enough of it

Found it again in my travels recently.

The #rosella is astonishingly good. So too the #wombat to the right of scene in the second pic.

Painted by HaydenDewar.com in 2019, this scene complements another painted on brick, just off Acland Street in StKilda. It has the same humanoid figures and #Australiana themes.

I’ll visit that and feature it here, sometime in the not too distant future.

This mural (pictured in this post) however, is located in #Bentleigh #Australia.

This scene takes in a portion of a larger mural (around 20 metres wide) on a brick wall. This section of the scene is around 4 metres wide by 4 metres high, with a vibrant rosella mid flight, tilted slightly flying from left to right, zooming through the air.

The bird is looking at the observer (the camera) almost with human intelligence in its eye. Has various blue coloured wings, spread wide and individual / distinct feathers showing. Great painted detail. Very detailed.

Its back and body is adorned with red and a bit of black individual feathers and it’s head is red, darker blue chin, grey curved beak and black eye.

It’s a side shot and the bird almost has what appears to be a grin… most certainly has a cheeky look in its eye.

Riding on its back (closer to its neck) is a slim and slender humanoid woman (has breasts) in a teal
Coloured skin suit.

The woman has flowing blonde hair, flowing in the wind, but no face. It looks like a light brown (perhaps skin tone) disc, for a face.

It is a real fun scene.

Streetartwall. On the outer wall of a one-story house is sprayed / painted a mysterious portrait of a woman with a mask. The background is designed in dark purple. On the side is depicted the face of a woman with black hair tied into a knot. Around her head sprout flowers in many colors and species. If you look closely, you can see that the face is a mask, because the flowers also sprout behind it.
Info: The mural was designed on the occasion of a project in Lower Austria. The rural area was converted into a so-called "Solution Hub". A place where innovations around the topic of sustainability should be discussed and presented. Arnold Schwarzenegger's climate initiative also takes place here. He was the host.

Exhale is a street art project by SNIK which spans the remote Norwegian Island of Utsira with the mainland city of Stavanger. Four murals were painted over ten days with three on the small island itself.

SNIK are an duo from Stamford in England known for their expansive and detailed stencil art. Often utilising a number of layers, each one will be intricately cut by hand. Each mural they create can easily take weeks if not months in the preparation and that's just in the cutting out.

@AmiW here it is today, 2023-May-24. Photos don't quite capture the layering visible in person. There's original siding paint, then ad writing for things like 'Open' and Coca-Cola, then some graffiti, then Colin's original piece, then more graffiti, then the White Horses.
