I voted early tonight. On my ballot are 14 #TX state propositions, one county proposition, two city of #Houston
propositions, and races for mayor, city controller, and several city council seats.
I sent the following email to the county clerk's office.

I lined up to vote shortly before 7:00 pm tonight, October 30 at [location redacted] I used the ATI (audio/tactile interface).
Two different poll workers harassed me while allegedly trying to help. The first one tried to tell me I was in the settings menu and not the ballot. I tried to explain that I was changing the speed because it was talking too slow. The poll worker (I assumed it was a poll worker) said it wouldn't go any faster (he was wrong, I always use the ATI and I /know/ how it works).
So, I found the setting to turn off the screen, with the idea that I could vote in peace. Except, a man with a tag hanging around his neck kept trying to tell me the screen was stuck. He had no business looking at my screen while I was voting. Period.
I felt totally validated in turning the screen off.
I am a PJ [Presiding Judge] on Election Day - I assume both of these chuckleheads attended the same training as the rest of us. If the State of Texas thinks I am capable of voting, poll workers need to honor that and only offer help if asked. It should go like this: Poll worker asks, "Would you like any help?" and when I answer, "No," they should move along.
When I went to harrisvotes.com to file a complaint, I found a link in the "Notice to Voters with Disabilities" (https://files.harrisvotes.com/harrisvotes/prd/docs/VotingInfo/NOTICE%20TO%20VOTERS%20WITH%20DISABILITIES%20-%202021.pdf), however, the link does not go to the complaint form.

It appears that Ken Praxton (TX AG with) bypassed normal channels to get a list of names of trans people who changed their sex on their license. When asked why no reason was given.
