But if we went full محمد مصدق or #Gough #Whitlam … then our friends the USA might decide we'd picked the wrong government and change it for us?

I don't necessarily want to change their government, I want to change how they elect it.

I am Antti, by day I'm doing product #security (#swsec) and #privacy for a tech company. I've been in some sort of product security roles full-time for two decades, both in-house and consulting. I'm hugely interested in the organisational side of security and #PrivacyEngineering in modern software development for over a decade now.

By night, I sleep.

I wish I had more time in between, and the little I have is divided between

• Family.

• #Running, I run a #marathon every year just to keep up.

• #HamRadio, too little of it - mostly interested in QRP HF digi and would like to brush up on my beginner CW.

• #Retrocomputing, particularly #Commodore #C64 which defined my life.

• Mapping for #OpenStreetMap which I have found to be relaxing and want to extend this to other areas of #GIS.

• Trying out new #QuantifiedSelf and health optimisations.

And if I had more time it'd be spent on renewing my old activist self, drawing and learning make music.

I believe in freedom of expression, multiparty democracy, Rechtstaat (~rule of law), decentralised organisations (#teal) and architecture, and that unless we globally guarantee all the former, we're going to kill us all in the climate catastrophe.
