When I was about 6 my mom decided to fix our VW bug. She recruited some friend to help but he ended up in the drunk tank that weekend. So she took apart the car and put it back together on her own. This completely pissed my dad off. So he then went out and got an old Rambler American to fix up. It sat in the garage for months and he never did shit to it. This completely pissed my mom off. 🤣 I still love those cars tho.

This is a Schmitger, a german "Microcar" (1950-1957) 🇩🇪
Kleinschnittger was a German company that between 1950 and 1957 produced microcars. They were powered by a 125 cc single cylinder two-stroke engine that produced 4 kW (5.4 hp) and a top speed of 70 km/h (43 mph). It was very fuel efficient and consumed less than 3 litres per 100 km (~.79 US gal per 60 mi). The body was in aluminium.

I spotted a #Panther in the wild yesterday! It's been a while since I've seen one, this was powered by a 1600 Ford engine, and had Beetle rear lights. While its looks are challenging, I reckon they're great fun to drive!
In the UK, it's a classic if the community agree it's a classic. (but the community is often wrong ;) )
It can be registered as Historic (OldTimer) once it's 40 years old (no tax or MOT (TUV) test requirement).
Clubs say that veterans were built before 1905, and vintage if built between 1905 and 1930.
