Nach langem hin und her hatte ich die Rücksendung gestartet, mich jetzt aber nach 5 Tagen doch entschieden die Uhr zu behalten, was verschiedene Gründe hat.
1. Die Uhr kann alles, was ich brauche, ich vermisse nichts. Ich bin auf Updates nicht zwingend angewiesen.
2. Vorgestern kam - sehr überraschend - nach knapp 10 Monaten mal wieder ein Update.
3. Mir gefällt die Uhr richtig gut und sie passt nahtlos in meine #Wahoo-Welt mit Bike-Computer und Kickr.
Und sie trägt sich wirklich gut! 🤷♂️
Der #Wahoo ist anscheinend immer noch buggy - Touren, die über Mitternacht gehen werden einfach nicht gespeichtert… Naja, hatte kurz vor Fahrtende noch auf die Kilometer geguckt, von daher nicht so wild.

Verbindung mit #tacX Trainer und #wahoo Pulsmesser funktionierte prompt und anstandslos. Steigungssimulation entspricht, würde ich sagen, der Standardeinstellung in Zwift (sprich es kommen nur rund 50% der Steigung an). Unterschiedliche Untergründe werden offenbar nicht in die Berechnung einbezogen (und trotz prinzipiell feinerer Grafik erzeugt Gravel etwa keine Staubwolke hinterm Fahrer). Kamerafahrt in Kurven gefällt mir gut (folgt dem Fahrer nicht stur, eher wie ein Kameramotorrad) #rolla

Ebenfalls habe ich #Wahoo Trittfrequenz und Geschwindigkeitssenoren am Bike. Meine Apple Watch will mir kein FTP berechnen (Watt bleiben immer auf 0 auf der Uhr). Habe die Sensoren schon neu gekoppelt aber nix hilft. Ideen?

Anyone else by chance having issues syncing routes from RideWithGPS to their Wahoo devices and/or the Wahoo ELEMNT app? I tried over the weekend before going out on a ride and I couldn't get it to work... and I tried again this afternoon and it's still not. It says it syncs and is up to date, but pinned routes are just not showing up in the app or on the device. Super annoying.

I use #komoot and sync it directly to my #wahoo #elemnt too. And I nearly always have to tweak the result because komoot creates the shortest routes. I too asked for the poi :-/ but with no joy 😞 .

Ich würde gerne ein bestimmtes Stravasegment auf Tempo fahren, dabei soll das Datenfeld für Puls Rot eingefärbt werden, wenn der Wert unter einen bestimmten Wert fällt und der Wert für die Durschnitsgeschwindigkeit vielleicht auch noch wenn er unter einen Wert fällt. I will need a proper bike computer with rock solid connection to my rose gravel bike (smartphone just fell off) and full #komoot compatibility with auto-rerouting if I miss a turn or want to go another way. Thinking of the new #wahoo element, so smartphone stays in a safe spot while still connected and available for rerouting. Additionally heart frequence monitoring, thinking of wahoo tickr. Less happy that #Wahoo have again changed their app to force you to sign in, even blocking the ELEMNT from working if you’re not signed in. Something they promised, twice since I bought it in 2018, that they wouldn’t do.
Solution is to delete the app and drop the Bluetooth connection, it works just fine by itself. Good for the maps, Live speed and stats, and the Garmin rear light/car radar, everything else I can get on my watch.

After years on WAHOO cycling computers it’s time to check what others have done in between.
First candidate: Hammerhead Karoo 2. Setup process is seamless. Maps are loaded. (that’s one of the pain points on the ROAM)
First impression of the UI: ugly. Just ugly. Maybe I can get used to it because everything else works fine? 🤔
My cadence on the last ride averaged 64 rpm, and maxed out at 112 rpm. That seems far too low, I think two things play into this: I don't trust my bike/myself when I'm pedalling fast, and I guess my heart's not as fit as my legs (heart rate was averaging ~140, and maxing out at 191 bpm)?
