I mean, I really, really cannot complain about how Internet Explorer 2.0 renders my #WaitWait Stats Page on Windows NT 4.0 Workstation.

Server-side rendering and HTML-first design means that my #WaitWait Stats and Reports sites are pretty usable in, looks at the virtual machine, Netscape 4 on Solaris 9 (running using UTM)
Someone added the bit about Maeve Higgins being the first panelist on #WaitWaitDontTellMe to get all 8 Lightning Fill-in-the-Blank questions wrong. I don't think that is correct.

My 1.5 seconds of fame when Paula Poundstone mentioned me, and the stats that I collect from #WaitWaitDontTellMe, on a Late Show with Stephen Colbert back in May 2017.
For those that don't know, I've maintained a version of a "#WaitWait Stats Page" since 2007. Current version is at https://stats.wwdt.me
At this point, I have around 99% of the Wait Wait shows that have aired from January 2000 through today. There are some shows that I couldn't pull from NPR's site.
I still need to find a way to get access to the 1998 and 1999 show audio and the missing episodes for 2000-2006.

Version 2.2.2 of the #WaitWait Reports site is now live and fixes an issue where hosts or scorekeepers do not have any appearance entries in the database causes an error to be thrown.

25 years ago today, #WaitWaitDontTellMe debuted on the air with Dan Coffey as the show's host and Carl Kasell as the scorekeeper.
On the panel were @PeterSagal, Roxanne Roberts and Roy Blount, Jr.

In this episode, we revisit our times with Ralph Macchio, Eleanor Holmes Norton, the hosts of the podcast "Ear Hustle" Earlonne Woods and Nigel Poor, and Matt Walsh.
@johnsturgeon I had a good taste for it when building out the #WaitWait Stats API on #FastAPI.
With the improved type hinting that comes with #Python 3.10 on up, I want to start making proper use of it going forward. I'll leave the existing stuff as Python 3.8 compatible and create new major versions for 3.10+.
For any of my #WaitWait projects, I have not been using an ORM and only used #Pydantic by way of #FastAPI.
It is something that I want to start learning and using in the next versions of the library, Stats Page and Stats API. So, I'm starting to go down the #SQLAlchemy and #Pydantic rabbit hole right now 😵💫
Versions 2.1.0 and 2.1.1 of the #WaitWait Stats API v2 have been published.
Version 2.1.0 contains updates to dependencies, including using #FastAPI 0.88.0 and #wwdtm 2.0.8. It also includes some refactoring of how it pulls values from the configuration file, and allows contact information to be configurable.
Version 2.1.1 adds in some extra validation for the contact information.

I have published version 2.1.7 of the #WaitWait Graphs site. The bulk of the changes are behind the scenes stuff, such as upgrading required versions for a number of dependencies.
In addition, Plotly.js has been upgraded from 2.13.3 to 2.17.0.

This day in #WaitWaitDontTellMe history:
On the #WaitWait that aired 20 years ago today, panelist Paula Poundstone had answered zero questions correctly during the show's Lightning Fill-in-the-Blank round. It was the first occurrence since January 2000 (scoring data is not available for shows prior to January 2000).
Both Paula and Maeve Higgins would go on and have two shows each where they have answered zero Lightning round questions correct.

@kat_kime I started collecting notes from #WaitWait shows back in 2006 and wanted to created something that I could share out. First few versions were written in PHP. I switched over to #Python with Version 4 and also build new sites for reports, charts and an API to pull information from the Stats database.
Version 4 was the first time that I published my Wait Wait Stats projects under an open source license (Apache License 2.0)
