I watched this Bittern for about 20 minutes while he wrestled this snake from the grass. The snake was wrapped tightly in the reeds, then wrapped himself all around the bird, his beak, trying to bite, but in the end he still became lunch. You witness some crazy things while looking for wildlife in Florida.

Deaths from heat exposure have been rising in the UK, as have summer wildfires (which doubled in number last year)... which might lead us to conclude that the #climatecrisis is not something that is coming, but rather has already arrived.

Finished a project today that was in testing for a couple ifs days now. My 3d printed office speaker powered by HomeAssistant.
The speaker was already done but I missed to design and print a case for the #esp32 and the max98357 amplifier. Now everything is done and I'm really satisfied with the design and result ☺️

For starters, the fifth generation Hyundai Elantra does indeed represent a pretty good value. The large number of standard features Hyundai includes is welcome, and you can even add niceties like Bluetooth and a rearview camera without breaking the bank. The Elantra also comes with a roomy trunk, excellent warranty coverage.

It is impossible to look after mental health when the needs of the body and well-being are barely or not being met. No amount of magic pills for sleep and mood balance helped me - the only thing I achieved after that was lower scores in tests for creative thinking and solving logic tasks. And what did help? Prayers, religious ceremonies, a change of job, then a raise, the gym and lots of walks outdoors. Coffee in the park. Books. Video games. It's not all colourful, but when I found at work that I didn't have to be in the top results at all and would be fine too, it also made me feel lighter straight away. What I might add is that twenty years from now the only person who will remember that you took overtime will be your child.

Nijak mi nie pomagały magiczne tabletki na sen i na równowagę nastroju - jedyne co po tym osiągnęłam, to niższe wyniki w testach na kreatywne myślenie i rozwiązywanie zadań logicznych. A co pomogło? Modlitwy, ceremonie religijne, zmiana pracy, później podwyżka, siłownia i dużo spacerów na świeżym powietrzu. Kawa w parku. Książki. Gry komputerowe. Nie wszystko jest kolorowe, ale kiedy w pracy stwierdziłam że wcale nie muszę być w top wynikach i też będzie dobrze, to też od razu poczułam się lżej. Co mogę dodać to to, że za dwadzieścia lat jedyną osobą która będzie pamiętać, że brałeś nadgodziny i zabierałeś pracę do domu, będzie twoje dziecko.

The Bay View massacre was the result of a strike held on May 4, 1886, by 7,000 building-trades workers and 5,000 Polish laborers who had organized at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to strike against their employers, demanding the enforcement of an eight-hour work day.[
By Monday, May 3, the number of participants had increased to over 14,000 workers who gathered at the Milwaukee Iron Company rolling mill in Bay View. They were met by 250 National Guardsmen under order from Republican Governor Jeremiah M. Rusk. The strikers had shut down every business in the city except the North Chicago Rolling Mills in Bay View. The guardsmen's orders were that, if the strikers were to enter the Mills, they should shoot to kill. But when the captain received the order it had a different meaning: he ordered his men to pick out a man and shoot to kill when the order was given. Workers camped in the nearby fields and the Kosciuszko Militia arrived by May 4. Early the next day the crowd, which by this time contained children, approached the mill and were fired upon. Seven people died as a result, including a thirteen-year-old boy. Several more were injured during the protest. Several contradictory newspaper accounts described other possible casualties, but the count of seven deaths is substantiated by specific names (Frank Kunkel, Frank Nowarczyk, John Marsh, Robert Erdman, Johann Zazka, Martin Jankowiak, and Michael Ruchalski).

Which is faster – IPv4 or IPv6?
One of the early arguments used to encourage organizations to switch to IPv6 was that it’s faster. It’s true – it is intrinsically faster – but the real world being what it is, there are times when you’ll see better performance with IPv4.
I wrote a simple batch file that runs on Windows machines, and I’ve used it at various times around the country and with different ISPs. The results have been interesting. Sometimes IPv4 is faster (as measured by latency of echo replies), sometimes IPv6 is faster, and sometimes the latency is about the same.
Here’s the text of the batch file, so you can create the script locally, run it, and check your results.
