Never understood the concept & subplot of disbanding UNIT backstory in Flux by showrunner Chris Chibnal, was in my opinion, wasted episodes then later reintroduced. UNIT, which is a strong force in the modern Whoverse especially Kate Stewart (loved her) and her constant appearances. One would suggest low ratings caused an continuity and controversy among fans by Chibnal's rewrite. I'm glad Chibnal is gone.
