He could well be but I think she is there because he thought he needed her to get over the line for the leadership.
Then when the #WindsorFramework happened, he realised that they don't have the numbers or power to harm him.
I think she will stay there as a lighting rod for everyone until it is time, that sacking her becomes politically advantageous.
I would agree if the #ERG had of had a bigger showing at the #WindsorFramework vote. They aren't the force that they once were.

Listening to Jim & Jamie has led Jeff from being the biggest party to the leader of the second biggest party. So if he wants to continue along that path - then let them work away.

The #Tories will never offer the #DUP the opportunity to control power after what they did on #May. The #WindsorFramework vote seen to that. The #DUP have no serious support amongst the Tory party. The #DUP humiliated her & could be argued they started the problems they face by backing #Boris.
As for #FG it is hypocritical that they tell all the parties in the #North that they must work together. However use Sinn Féin as a bogeyman in the South.

I have been getting the feeling ever since their refusal to back #WindsorFramework, that something has changed in the attitude towards them.
Their hostility over #Biden last week and now comments made by Heaton-Harris yesterday, is even off the charts for them.
I sense #panic and even #fear from some of their statements. I also get a sense of an unhappy party. That local election ad was woeful. Jeff looks awful!
They are backed into a corner of their own making. They know that they have no support for their position now the #WindsorFramework has been accepted.
They are hoping that their uncompromising stance will help them save them losing seats to Jim.
No-one is waiting for another six months, while Jeff finds his spine. If they don't get back into #Stormont after May's elections. The #DUP will never be in power again here. Stormont either gets #reformed or closed for good.
The #UUP have indeed been called Lundies quite recently - for daring to suggest that even though the #WindsorFramework isn't perfect. Maybe it is time to get the powersharing institutions up and running for the good of the people of #ni
They were attacked for selling Unionism out, siding with the EU over the Unionist people. I say this with my tongue firmly in my cheek- when KCIII met with the President of rhe EU, when WF was signed - some made the joke that Charles was a Lundy.
Nigel, I remember five assmebly pledges that Jeff made! I remember a seven point plan and a consultation panel on #Brexit and the #WindsorFramework. What happened to all those promises? What about Jeff taking his MLA seat? Don't remember any announcement about not nominating a speaker?

Jeffrey can't really think that he has any influence in #Westminster after the vote on the #WindsorFramework passed so overwhelmingly. @harriettmb Wilson is always on the wrong side of everything. Just look at his utterances before the vote on the #WindsorFramework. Foster & Donaldson left the UUP because they weren't prepared to make the tough decisions. Which Donaldson is refusing to do now. They are desperate to grab some of the limelight that will fall on NI with the 25th Anniversary of #GoodFridayAgreement but they are trying to shift the bad look to the #EU. Away from #DUP who use the GFA when it suits them.

Sammy complaint here, Poots a little while ago sending messages asking for special exemptions for NI farmers… while #DUPLeader ‘could live with 40k job losses’. Yet they all troop into Westminster and vote for #Brexit, vote against the #WindsorFramework, and refuse to support the #GFA. At the same time they swabbed off to the #USA to celebrate #stpatricksday2023 and simultaneously complained the date was turning into a week long event here
@SimonB @dkellyj @Sliotar With NI basically in the EU under the #WindsorFramework, I would hope other gradual changes towards a UI will take place for the entire island; one of those would be NI/Ireland on EU time; another would be joining Schengen and losing the CTA with Britain. It’s time for an NI referendum on the #NIprotocol #WindsorFramework to settle this once and for.
The #dup cannot continue to use the protocol as of way of keeping #northernireland in limbo.
If the people of #ni vote in favour of the protocol the DUP should be forced to take their seat or step down from NI politics, as they will no longer be representing the will of the people.
