Zelenskyy Aide Wants Hungarian, Ukrainian Leaders to Discuss EU Bid
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's chief of staff on Wednesday said he wanted to arrange a meeting between the Ukrainian and Hungarian leaders amid Budapest's opposition to a proposal to start talks on European Union membership for Kyiv.
“And now I'm walking around the capital of our beautiful state, not someone's province as part of someone's empire. I am leaving the Office of the President of Ukraine, not someone else's Gauleiter. Ahead of us is the European Square, where our flags are blue and yellow, not tricolor. Ahead is the Volodymyr hill. In honor of our great prince, not their petty tsar.”

President Zelenskyy announced during a speech on 5th December that every person who has received the title of "Hero of Ukraine" since the beginning of the full-scale war will receive their own housing.
"We are starting to implement an important initiative aimed at implementing a simple principle: Ukraine protects those who protect Ukraine. According to this initiative, all those who have received the title of Hero of Ukraine since the beginning of the war will receive their own housing. Everyone who, defending the state, became a Knight of the Order of the "Golden Star". All without exception.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, this is 360 people. The state will take care of each of them - both those who are with us and the families of all those who gave their lives for the country.
I sincerely thank all of you, our Heroes, for everything you have done. I sincerely thank the families of the victims for their endurance and courage. I sincerely believe that one day, everyone in a peaceful Ukraine will know about the bravery and exploits of every Hero of Ukraine - the Ukraine that won. Which will win."
“In my opinion, it is symbolic that it takes place on the eve of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Because Ukrainian volunteers are actually another branch of our army, another strength of ours. Our guard of those who care. Our army of active Ukrainians”
"They give results and efforts to increase their own production. For the first time, we have reached the indicator of six #Bohdanas per month. And we are already seeing how to increase it more," he said

This battle is where Ukrainians need support every day. Specific things that strengthen Ukraine. Things that add strength to our positions, to our state.....
..... I thank everyone who does not forget that the frontline requires support every day.
It is important that everyone remains committed to the common cause. It is important that every week one can say, "I have contributed something of my own to the common defense." It is important that the actions, the concrete actions of millions of Ukrainians every day, every week, further strengthen the Ukrainian force. Together, we can overcome everything.
"The quality of the work of Ukrainian prosecutors, investigators, detectives, forensic experts and everyone who is involved and helps is, after all, the inevitability of punishment for russia for everything it has committed against Ukraine and Ukrainians" - Zelenskyy
russia was not re-elected to the council of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), a United Nations specialized agency responsible for regulating shipping.

I have just held two important meetings in Zaporizhzhia. An operational one with the military, with Generals Tarnavskyi, Moskaliov, Litvinov and all those responsible for defense here in Zaporizhzhia region.
The second meeting was actually a nationwide meeting on fortifications. In all major areas where we need to boost and accelerate the construction of structures
The Head of State heard reports from Commander of the Odesa operational and strategic grouping of troops Andriy Hnatov, Commander of the Marine Corps of the Ukrainian Navy Yuriy Sodol and spoke with the commanders of the marine brigades and territorial defense brigades performing combat missions in the Kherson direction.
He observed the living conditions of internally displaced citizens from Kharkiv, Kherson, Donetsk, Luhansk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as Ukrainians evacuated from the Gaza Strip

'Every once in a while, a leader comes along and single-handedly changes the course of history through the power of their words.
🇺🇦 Ukraine's president is one of them.'
I have just held a special, lengthy and detailed meeting of the Staff. First up – fortification. We are significantly enhancing our fortifications. There was also an important analysis of recent attacks against Ukraine – missiles, massive drone strikes.
Europe is changing. The Continent is reassessing its strategic relationships, getting serious about defense, rethinking policies on trade, accession and energy security. Broadly speaking, it’s rethinking what it means to be European — and that’s largely because of Volodymyr #Zelensky
Politico finding a new low point.
"Class of 2023: Volodymyr #Zelenskyy
Most powerful because:
Ukraine's president brought the war to the West, convincing people that his battle against Russia is also theirs. And giving him the authority to make Europe do what he wants."
We cannot stand aloof from Ukraine’s defense– address by President #Zelenskyy 26/11/23 🇺🇦
I thank each of you, warriors, all your brothers-in-arms, everyone who helps our brigades, all Ukrainian defense and security forces, who works in our defense production facilities, who supplies everything needed by #Ukraine and our people, who tends the wounded, trains our warriors, and organizes volunteer fundraisers for the sake of Ukrainian strength.
🇺🇦 Could President #Zelenskyy discover a new discreet way to engage with #China that benefits #Ukraine's defense and security, without upsetting the existing status quo's, cognisant of #China's non #SouthChinaSea objectives?

Address of the President #Zelenskyy of Ukraine on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holodomors
The #Holodomor Remembrance Day. When we feel great pain and anger at the same time, as it is impossible to forget, understand, and especially forgive the horrific crimes of genocide that the Ukrainian people experienced in the XX century.
This includes mobilization and demobilization, rotations in the AFU. Issues regarding conscripts who were called to service before the start of the full-scale invasion. Of course, special attention was given to the situation with the work of the medical military commissions
As the Head of State emphasized, Ukraine is also working at all levels with various countries and leaders, including with U.S. President Joe Biden and his administration, with both parties in Congress, and with the European Union, to maintain support for our country.
In particular, on eliminating the consequences of russian strikes. In different regions.
Thousands of people are working in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Donetsk and Kharkiv regions in utilities, in the State Emergency Service, in medical services, as volunteers to help people and preserve our infrastructure – the essentials for a normal life.
These include shells and missiles, electronic warfare and drones, new capacities for our air defense. A corresponding coalition has been established – the air defense development coalition.
I thank every warrior for everything you do for Ukraine and Ukrainians, I thank all the commanders who take care of the soldiers' lives, I thank everyone who helps to protect our country and people and who brings the expulsion of the occupiers closer

He bases this on the essential truth that #Russian military capabilities have been undoubtedly degraded during the war, while NATO member states have had time to prepare should conflict spread. In addition, he notes Ukraine shows no interest in capitulation to Russia. The goal by #Zelenskyy and his government remains to completely retake all Ukrainian land Russia invaded and now occupies.
He lists four major points for why it matters:
"For the first time in history, russia has been ousted from the #UNESCO Executive Board. The era of russian influence is over, and rightly so: russian terrorists have no place at the head of significant international bodies. russia’s international role will only continue to weaken" - Volodymyr #Zelenskyy President of #Ukraine

The more russian forces are destroyed near #Avdiivka now, the worse the overall situation and the overall course of this war will be for the enemy. ..
.... Glory to everyone who fights for Ukraine, who saves human lives! Thank you to everyone who helps!
"I want to thank you for standing with us in this struggle. I wish you good health to see our just victory, the restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty. #Crimea is Ukraine," #Zelenskyy said and added that it was a pleasure to congratulate him personally on the anniversary. (he turns 80 today.)
Today marks the first anniversary of the liberation of Kherson from russian occupation. The city-hero. The city-symbol. The city of hope. The city of our people who did not surrender to the enemy force and inspired everyone around us and the whole world with their resistance
Ukraine will be in the EU. And we will achieve this, in particular, through the transformation of our country – an internal transformation that is absolutely in the interests of our people.

I remember well how people were feeling on February 24 and in the early days of the full-scale war. I remember what was said and who said it. Who believed and who was mistaken by not believing in Ukraine. It's important to be as confident in Ukraine now as we were back then.
As part of President of Ukraine Volodymyr #Zelenskyy's Bring Kids Back UA plan, a ceremonial first performance of the children's anti-war #opera "Brundibar. Voices of Children" by Hans Krása took place on the stage of the National Philharmonic of #Ukraine
This is a story about children who had their childhood stolen. The work of #Czech composer Hans Krása, was first performed in 1943 in a concentration camp in the Czech Republic.
Nov 1, is practically celebrated as the birth of the European Union. Thirty years ago, the Maastricht Treaty came into force
However, the European Union has proven time and again that it can overcome crises, defend itself, preserve its valuable leadership in the world, and become stronger when Europe's enemies expect only weakness
🇺🇦 President awards military personnel who changed the situation in the Black Sea in favor of Ukraine and the world
"The battle for the #BlackSea is still ongoing, but we can already be confident that russia will not win this battle. Ukrainians have not allowed the enemy to use the Black Sea as a foothold for landings and attacks against our southern regions," Volodymyr #Zelenskyy
~And all the frothing fools falling in line with Russian propaganda and Jew hatred... You are complicit.~
"Appalling videos from Makhachkala, Russia, where an angry mob broke into the airport searching for Israeli citizens on the flight from Tel-Aviv.
This is not an isolated incident in Makhachkala, but rather part of Russia’s widespread culture of hatred toward other nations, which is propagated by state television, pundits, and authorities.
The Russian foreign minister has made a series of antisemitic remarks in the last year. The Russian President also used antisemitic slurs. For Russian propaganda talking heads on official television, hate rhetoric is routine. Even the most recent Middle East escalation prompted antisemitic statements from Russian ideologists.
Russian antisemitism and hatred toward other nations are systemic and deeply rooted. Hatred is what drives aggression and terror. We must all work together to oppose hatred."

Ukraine updates: Germany urges funding for path to EU
The German chancellor wants to set up a "Ukraine facility" to guarantee European Union support. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy vowed Kyiv would retake Crimea with the rest of the country.

'His country is under this vicious attack and #Zelenskyy says “I know from my experience how important it is in your hour of desperation and pain, that foreign leaders come and just be there with you, and I want to come and be there with you.” Despite the fact that the terrible #war is still ongoing.'
#Zelenskyy 'is showing the world what true patriotism is. And also his reaction now: you know, #Israel in many ways turned a cold shoulder to #Ukraine in its hour of greatest need, being very, very careful about how it phrases itself on the conflict so as not to anger the #Russians because we have our own interests to take into account, and being quite stingy in the that the help we extend to Ukraine. And, a bit like President #Biden, Zelenskyy didn’t bargain…'
'#Zelenskyy, besides being an inspiring leader of #Ukraine, I think he is the most inspiring Jewish leader of our time. What he has done in Ukraine is absolutely amazing. Especially given the very difficult history of Jews and Ukrainians, the fact that Ukrainians have chosen a Jewish person to lead them at their greatest hour of need, and the way he leads them... All this kind of very nationalistic views that "you can’t be both a Ukrainian and a Jew" - absolute nonsense!'
