Most human traits are shared across the board, whether you have #autism or not. These traits are also combined with so many variables that there's no way to uphold *any* sort of claim that "group x is _____". That's textbook bigotry & #prejudice.
When we get off the beaten path, we still find this kind of #symmetry. For every above average person there's a below average one. This is regardless of being #autistic or any other category.
Also, there is no single 'box'. There's one for every context, and most of the time, by definition, the box represents a successful strategy already adopted. The time to go outside these norms is when a new problem arises, or the standard way no longer works. It is not a constant.
If increased acceptance of #diversity is the goal, let's not go about it by hammering wedges between people by claiming to be superior to others, or to be uniquely suffering in this absurd world.
It's true that we can speak of increased likeliness for certain things (including many bad ones you did not mention), given the small % of people in the autistic basket, but that will always be countered by the sheer numbers of human beings near the middle of the bell curve-- literally billions-- who are *not* being individually accommodated by anyone.

What's the difference to you between #acceptance and #resignation / #givingup ?
Been thinking about how the meaning of words such as patriot and Christianity has morphed in recent years with the rise in fascism, white supremacy and just general hate. To me those words now represent hate, xenophobia, homophobia, racism, etc.
While I believe in a forgiving, accepting and loving Jesus I stopped referring to myself as Christian long time ago as I am totally opposed to the type of Christianity being pushed by the conservative right. In my view they're teach the exact opposite of everything I believe Jesus stands for.
It's gotten to the point that I instinctively judge and keep my distance from anyone who describes themselves as Christian, patriot or religious as I expect them to be as hateful and judgemental as the conservative right, and I just don't need that kind of negativity in my TL or my life.
I do realize that this is pretty judgemental and intolerant especially from someone that is always preaching acceptance, tolerance and to not judge others. I do not. however, consider this hypocrisy. I consider this to fall under the paradox of intolerance which points that in order for acceptance and tolerance to flourish one must not accept nor tolerate hate. By tolerating or accepting hate, it allows hate to flourish and grow. Hate is like a cancer, if you don't actively work on killing it, it will grow and become all consuming, eventually killing all tolerance, love and acceptance.
Call me radical lefty liberal if you want but I believe that anyone that foster hate towards a group of folks based on their skin color, sexual orientation, sexual identity, gender etc., to be a fascist Nazi. Those that claim that they are not those things but consider them "fine folks" or do nothing to speak out against them or condemn them are Nazi adjacent in my book (aka just as bad as actual Nazi). Even if they don't actively hate those groups, if they consider themselves superior because of their skin color, sexual orientation, etc., are in fact Nazi's.
One can be a superior human being by virtue of their action, but not by virtue of their appearance, preferences or identity.
For example a person fighting for LGBTQ rights is clearly superior to a person trying to get that same group banned if not killed. On the other hand there is nothing superior about being straight or LGBTQ. Also someone can be superior in something objectively measurable. For example, someone holding a Olympic gold in 100m dash, is clearly a superior short distance sprinter. However that says nothing about them as a human being.
I'm such a radical lefty that I consider food and shelter to be human rights, and not a privilege for the wealthy. Also trans rights to be human rights as well as the rights for the whole LGBTQ spectrum to be human rights. I know these are extremely radical concepts but I proudly support them despite them being so radical.

A friend told me once: "I #fear my #depression. That's why I keep myself so busy. I am running away from my thoughts, from my feelings, from myself"
I could tune into that very well. Been there, done that. Didn't help.
#Suppression or denying is like trying to push a balloon under water. Running away from your inner turmoil does not get you into #peace. Both are exhausting.
