So many monumental, public, and industrial buildings of Ljubljana are built of bricks from Tönnies' brickworks of Koseze. Today only a pond - Koseški bajer remains of them. We flew our kites over this suburban oasis, and discover its rich history.

First day back in the #MusicStudio in something like 2 years (working on a project for my wife, @likeawednesday, who performs #aerial routines set to #InstrumentalMusic), and I must admit, I've gotten more than a little rusty. 😬
I'm currently working on #recording a #guitar track that replicates the vocal melody from a song, and then splicing that together with the #instrumental mix of that song. The end result will sound and feel very similar to the original, with all the same melodic content, but none of the lyrics.
Well, I just had a *perfect* take, from start to finish. Absolutely #NailedIt. Felt like a damn #rockstar. Looked down at the #AkaiForce to check out my handiwork...

I take a lot of pretty photos of the #Chicago, but just a few miles over the state line sits United Steel's Gary Works - the U.S.' largest integrated steel mill with an annual raw steelmaking capability of 7.5 million net tons.
It ain't pretty, but it's good visual reminder that so many of the glittering finished products we see and use are made in far less glamorous conditions.
